Hopefully he can get a top 40 this time although Kiss Me feels like a song that will take off and should make the top 20.

It fell to #61 last week, but is back up to #50 now - hopefully Top 40 is still on the cards for it.

New single and video ‘Innocence & Sadness’ out next Friday - just as ‘Kiss Me’ is potentially starting to take off, feels a little bit of a ‘throw something out there to get a pre-album release hit’ at the moment.

What’s everyone expecting for this album chart wise - at the moment despite all the formats and pre-release activity it feels as if it could be a bit of a 1-33-72 kind of release?
I’m really not sure what to expect and Dermot has a large fanbase that will support album releases and physical formats but a big lead single will hamper this somewhat, of course there is still time for ‘Kiss Me’ or ‘Innocence & Sadness’ to take off and there will be some buzz created by the huge UK tour announcement. |
