'LOVE ME LIKE YOU' has been announced as the second single from 'Get Weird'. It's to be released on the 25th September, with the pre-order going up on 11th September!
No idea on the premier date yet, but VERY EXCITED nonetheless!
As much as I love 'Hair', I really hope it's another 'Black Magic' type pop smash.

And it's from their twitter

It's "Love Me Like You".
Available to pre-order from Friday and released 25th September :0
I'm just adding '...Do' onto the end of the title right now!
But I'm excited to hear it!
I think this might be the cover!
Still frustrating that they haven't gone fully OA/OS, but at least a 2 week hold-back is better than 6 weeks!
I do love the artwork this era, so colourful
Ideal release strategy in my opinion. They'd have struggled outright OA/OS but it's good to see they're committing to a less held back strategy somewhat.
It is ideal for them, but I still think every artist should go fully in with it otherwise OA/OS will slowly get abandoned here once again and that's exactly what I don't want.
Although, if they only premiere this single a couple of days before the 25th then that's fair enough!
Here's the artwork for our second single #LoveMeLikeYou which will be available to pre-order on 11th September and released EVERYWHERE on 25th September! Can't wait for you to hear this track! The Girls (P.S. Love Me Like You is our single in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia BUT available as a bonus tack for the whole world to stream and download!)
Steve Mac, Iain James, James Newman, Camille Purcell... I'm excited!!
I assumed Hair would be the official 2nd single. I hope they achieve another big hit with this release.
Can it not be another ballad again tho? Remember what happened with "Little Me"? No one was here for that.
They wouldn't lead the album with a ballad, well I don't think so, I think it'll most likely be more along the lines of Hair/Salute? Or another poppy track but hopefully not too similar to Black Magic as much as that's my song of the year.
#87 on iTunes atm!
Hold up please!
Oh, so they are going with the OA/OS approach, just with a pre-order rather than throwing everything out there at once. Interesting. Scary.
So it's Motown! Sounds big!
They've uploaded a clip to Facebook. Gives very little away but I'm really not sure of it atm! Hope the full thing is better than the clip is suggesting it will be. (It's not "bad" just not what I expected or wanted from them)
Here's a Popjustice article on the song:
I think the Motown sound will really suit them! The clip sounds good, I'm just a bit worried that OA/OS won't work for them... They have a fanbase moreso than say Rita Ora so they'll probably do better than her at least initially, and hopefully, fingers crossed, they can hold up as well!
Seems they are taking inspiration from other girls.
Black Magic vs Disco Love
Love Me Like You vs Black Heart
I don't think I've even heard "Disco Love".
I've always wanted to see them do Motown after the 'You Keep Me Hanging On' performance on X Factor!
So heres a video of both previews combined! It's super catchy, but it's not as big as I imagined.
Those clips!
It's so different to what's around right now. Hopefully it'll work in their favour again. Seems to be exactly how Popjustice said it would be, they tend to over exaggerate a lot of the time. Excited for the full thing.
Listen http://sunflowerleigh.tumblr.com/post/129775328995/heres-love-me-like-you!
I quite like it on first listen although I'm not sure if it screams hit, unless it manages to do a StooShe's 'Black Heart'. I'm surprised they didn't play it safe with another big pop song, but it'll be interesting to see how it does.
I wasn't sold by the first chorus but it builds so well throughout the whole song and ends up feeling like such a classy yet catchy number. I'm not sure how this will fare, it is very much a Black Heart kind of feel and that did well, it's not a huge selling #1 like Black Magic but I think this sort of song would fit in well with a Heart audience and stick around for quite a while.
The preview worried me but as a whole song it works so well, ahhhh so glad I'm not disappointed!
I'm loving the sound of this! Enjoying the Motown influence. Looking forward to hearing this in HQ.
So amazing
That link got taken down! (But I found another one, http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/little-mix-single-love-me-like-you/!)
I really like it! Suits them so much. I can see this being another big hit for them! Another number 1? Maybe not, but a long running top 10 hit I reckon. HeartFM are gonna be ALL OVER THIS.
It's getting it's premiere on CapitalFM tomorrow from 8am!
Absolutely loving this on first listen! Only thing I am not a fan of is the artwork, but that has been pretty inconsistent with both Black Magic and the album, so fr.
This sounds so perfect for the winter/build up to Christmas time!
It is quite a bit like 'Be My Baby'/'Black Heart' mashed up, with elements of 'Dedication To My Ex' in the backing track.
Had two listens and really like this! Definitely the best single #2 that they've had and miles better than "Hair"!
Ermmm... 'DNA' is a second single you know!!!!
'DNA' > majority of their back catalogue...
What a massive chorus. Very solid song, should their biggest second single to date. Only criticism is the chanty middle 8 is almost exactly the same as "all the girls from the block knockin' at my door" but that was in itself a killer hook so no complaints I guess.
This really is fantastic, the perfect follow up to 'Black Magic'. Not sure about its #1 chances, but I can see it being a long running Top 5 hit.
It's just SO GOOD. The melody, the hook, the chorus. SO BIG.

Heard this in proper quality on Radio 1 this morning, and the general consensus for listeners and the Djs was that it sounds like a Christmas song. Which I do agree with.
However, I think it's really great. It won't sell as much as Black Magic but it sounds like a perfect album seller to me. Whereas, I can't see Black Magic being much of an album seller.
Sounds a little like a Stooshe song too.
Really liking this.
It's so good.
This is pretty amazing.

Not yet breaking the top 5 which are all so strong, but it's only just come out so there's time yet and I am really loving it
Oh wow, this is excellent, it's so Stooshe and they have to one of the best recent girlband albums in a long time, LM are killing it this era, it's so Christmassy sounding too, can't wait for an XF performance of this in October or November. I think Black Magic is their best ever single and this coukd easily end up beating it or just below anyway, SO PLEASED
Okay, I think I officially like this and it's already much better than 'Black Heart'. Poor Little Mix going into a Stooshe sound though, urgh. The live performance of this is going to be so f***ing incredible and it's a perfect song for the winter (like Josh said).
Seriously wouldn't be surprised to see Little Mix beat Ellie Goulding in the album battle now.

Anyone else get the feeling that this song has the most longevity of a second single so far? I feel like its debut this week will not be its peak, and it will climb higher as the weeks progress as the AirPlay increases and the music video is released. But with that said, I do hope it gets an initial Top 10 debut!
It sounds a bit like a Girls Aloud song, that said i love it! This album is gonna be their best so far.
It would be wonderful for it to have longevity as i think it will miss out a top 10 position.
They really need to get pushing this!
It's doing fine atm! Don't forget it's OA/OS so they need to delay certain things and time things just right. I do think the video needs to premiere in the net week or so, to hold it up, before airplay finally builds for the song.
I'm really confident this is going to be a big top 10 for them tbh. I've not felt like this about an OA/OS release before (which probably means it'll flop right on it's arse and do a 'Good For You' at best or something haha )
I do like this so far, but I can't help but feel a little bit underwhelmed. It's a little too reminiscent of Stooshe for me. I would have liked something a bit different for the second single and then they could have released this as a Christmas song with fur hooded coats, snow and bells in the video. It's definitely got more of a winter vibe to it. At the same time, it probably is the right sort of song to launch an album with.
Oh my word they really are giving me no choice but to start liking them! Love the teaser, reminds me a bit of Grease and I don't know why!
Does anyone else think the "Ooh Ooh Oooh" in the song sounds like Marina? I can imagine a KICK ASS acoustic version of this song. I'm sure we'll get one at some point.
The amount of times you post in here though Sean...
(But you're not trolling with your dislike towards them, so you're a keeper! )
I'm not overkeen on it tbh, their best single remains DNA and I'd love for them to go back to that sorta sound.

1 Black Magic
2 Love Me Like You
3 DNA
4 Wings
5 How Ya Doin?
What an era so far for them, both 10/10 songs, I thought they'd never top DNA.

Which is a good thing ofc.

All the snippets in one video:
Is anyone else wanting all four of them to go 'Carrie' and turn their backs and use special powers and stuff on their "new lovers"?
Jesy's clip!
I hadn't seen the Perrie and Jesy snippets but they both look amazing!
Another really fun video
Loooove the video. Their choreography is really fun and the L-O-V-E bits are done so well. Certainly helped elevate an already great song for me.
That was great. So much fun and the routines were very good. Looking forward to seeing some big budget performances of this!
Jade crying hysterically when they all realise they're all in the same situation really made me lol.
Loving the video, the only part I wasn't keen on was them in the toilet/bathroom area with the mirrors. For me I'm enjoying this song more than Black Magic but I think Black Magic still has to be their best video!
A very enjoyable video! *.*
Video effect seems to be helping the song. It's climbing on iTunes again.
Their videos are so on point this era. I love it! I loved LMLY anyway but this video just increases my love for the song. It'd be a travesty if this doesn't chart in the top 5 eventually.
Jesy was too much in the video. The scene at the cinema was so me
I have had this on loop for most of the day! I'll probably be bored of it given how much I've played it but still, such a good follow up!
Absolutely hooked on this, definitely one of my favourite girl group tracks of ALL TIME and is definitely up there with Forever Is Over, The Loving Kind, Ugly Heart, etc etc which are all 11/11 for me!

This keeps growing. Prefer it to Black Magic now.
Do you know what I mean? ^^^
This is already one of my favourite songs in this year! I feel that it will be their best era! Their vocals are great!
When are they going for the push? When is the X Factor perf?
I'm not sure what it is about it, but the video for this has made me really fall for the song. It was the same with 'Black Magic' too. They're just so damn lovable and the videos this era have really fed into that appeal. Really like the song now and hope it can be another hit for them!
Could be shaping up to be my favourite era from them and I didn't think they'd have enough drive to top 'Salute' so that is high praise from me.
Coming on Friday:
Which includes the album track 'Lightning' (+ we'll get another "surprise" on Friday - check the album thread for more deets).
In the meantime we have a couple of performances of this song:
And the X Factor Australia Performance:
O.M.F.G.
THE XFACTOR AUSTRALIA PERFORMANCE.
W.O.W.
I'm actually loving this rn deserves at least top 5 what went wrong?
Nothing? It's OA/OS. Wait until airplay properly kicks in, video play & promo, then we can moan. But I'm confident it'll go top 5!
Love Me Like You Chart Run: 21-30 (2 weeks)
Weekly Sales:
Week 1: 21,101
Week 2: 17,000 (estimate)
Overall Sales: 38,000 (estimate)
That performance was incredible! Didn't expect the bar but the "LOVE" appearing on screen and the balloons and the outfits (Jade's in particular was *.*) were great!
Oh and Perrie's vocals at the end were great as well!
The X Factor Australia performance was good, but it also felt very weird to me. The outfits and dance moves didn't really suit the song at all, it seemed like they wanted to be controversial with a very sexual image. It was a great performance don't get me wrong, but it felt like it was for a different song - it would've suited Move for example, but it doesn't suit Love Me Like You at all.
So on the 'Love Me Like You: The Collection' you get...
01. 'Love Me Like You' (Christmas Mix)
02. 'Lightning'
03. 'Love Me Like You' (J-Vibe Reggae Remix)
04. 'Love Me Like You' (Bimbo Jones Remix)
05. 'Love Me Like You' (7th Heaven Remix)
06. 'Love Me Like You' (Exclusive Interview)
07. 'Love Me Like You' (Instrumental)
The Christmas mix is amazing. I'm just listening through now and I'm so excited to hear the 7th Heaven Remix!!
I love the Christmas Mix but it should have been "He might have the biggest sleigh -eigh -eigh
The Love Me Like You album is 15 on iTunes, so that's really good news as it will push up sales overall. It's also holding up really well, despite quite a few new releases this week! When they start to push and really promote it here I have high hopes.
The Christmas Mix is incredible. I need a video for it.
The Christmas mix is so fantastic
The 7th Heaven Remix is EVERYTHINGGGGG right now! *.*
Has been A-Listed by Radio One! Get that airplay!!
This is slowly but surely climbing and overall, has done pretty decently for an OA release, despite its peak, as it's managed to stay stable in the top 40. Radio 1/Radio 2 A-listing.
Hopefully, they get an X-Factor performance this Sunday or next Sunday and no later, because I'd like to see this song start peaking while airplay is high, otherwise it'll be dropped pretty quickly, I'd imagine. (It also needs to come before/while the album is on release week)
An early X Factor performance would be ideal. This weekend or the one after would work best for the single.
Have they not been confirmed for the first week along with Ellie Goulding or is that still speculation?
Confirmed on their Instagram just now that they're on X Factor this week and there is a "surprise" in their performance! Possibly a special guest, not sure?
i hate this. it sounds like stooshe doing a christmas number and that is something NOBODY ASKED FOR.
They're also performing this on Alan Carr the week after next.
I really thought they'd have more promotion lined up. So far it seems to be just XF and Alan Carr. I'm hoping they can bag a slot on Children In Need again, and/or something else too, to keep the album selling at least.
I'm sure they'll have some other bits. They've not announced the full CiN line up, so fingers crossed. I;m sure they'll also do some daytime stuff like This Morning/Lorraine/Loose Women. They're also doing the Celebrity Juice Halloween speicial, which won't do much as it doesn't include a performance.
I hope they do the XF Australia choreography on the UK version this weekend. I think a great performance like that would push it into the top 10.
THE XF PERFORMANCE!
OMAG!
INCREDIBLE performance. Wouldn't be too rash or hasty to say one of my favourite XF performance TO DATE. Not seen that arrangement before so it shocked me when they went into 'Black Magic'. Amazing performance, they are real stars
I hadn't seen that performance either! The dance break was incredible. Really showed why they are the biggest girl group in the UK!
Stunning performance, absolutely fantastic
It was a great performance. The LMLY/BM mash up worked really well.
I was shocked at how bad Ellie was. Little Mix really showed her how it's done.
For those who may have missed it, here's a decent enough version of the performance
Really can't get over this!
Amazing performance. Showing everyone how talented they are time and time again. I wish they'd capitalised on the performance and finished at least the bridge of LMLY before going into Black Magic, but it was amazing all the same. So annoying that iTunes has crashed so we can't track their progress. LMLY is up to 6 on Amazon though.
Finally scraped its way into the Spotify top 50, hopefully this gets it more exposure and it continues to climb.
I just need top 20, please.
A further increase on Spotify would be a good help.
It's up to 6 on iTunes, but I bet it will miss the official Top 10 this week, as for some reason people persist on streaming the same songs for months on end!
They're on the Ellen show tomorrow in the US! First appearance on there!
40 on Spotify now. I'm thinking this won't make the top 20, but will peak next Friday, with people cherry-picking/streaming the album. I'm thinking #17 - 20 this Friday and around #14 next Friday. But it should hopefully stick around in the top 40 for a while and safely go silver.
(Also, they're performing LMLY on Sunday Brunch the same weekend as Alan Carr)
Does anyone know if they'll do like This Morning or any daytime performances next week?
completely addicted to this hope it does well for em
This is such a huge song, and they always bring it with performances too - the mash-up on X Factor was brilliant. It deserves to be #1 for weeks but I'm scared that it will miss Top 10 altogether at this rate.
Absolutely loved this acoustic. All vocals were on point! They really are owning it with every performance this era so far! They performed Black Magic on Ellen & the vocal, outfits & dancing were amazing!
Performance on GMA! Nice, simple mic stand choreographed performance! <3
And a HQ version of their X Factor UK performance
REALLY loved that performance ....until they jumped into Black Magic and ruined it for me completely
Another great performance on Lorraine this morning, Perrie's vocals around 2:50-2:59 were just
Yes, they sounded great!
I'm looking forward to the Alan Carr and Sunday Brunch performances this weekend <3
Their XF performance FINALLY got uploaded to Youtube yesterday!
Only a week too late
Up to number 9 on itunes. Having some sort of logevity.
Number 13 on the midweek charts - a new peak.
If only the streaming was better they would be top 10.
Still on Radio 1 Playlist
Top 10 please next week
How much as it sold so far?
Up to #2 in the airplay chart, but falling slightly on iTunes (though still #9 combined) and Spotify. Keep streaming!
It's out of top10 on Itunes, but chatty should return it there
This is rapidly growing on me.
I really hope it can get higher still.
So pleased that this climbed to #13, it deserved a Top 15 peak at the very least. Fingers crossed that it sneaks a week inside the Top 10!
Fun performance on Alan last night. Sadly less people tuned in than usual because of CIN, but it still got a small boost anyway. Another performance on Sunday Brunch tomorrow!
Sadly, it's taken a big fall on Spotify but hopefully that's weekend/effect Justin/1D streaming effect.
They filmed Royal Variety last night and apparently gave one of the best performances of the night for LMLY, looking glamorous (airs December 7th):
Today's Sunday Brunch stripped back performance (which also pushed them back into the top 10 on iTunes).
Did they only perform on Alan Carr? Or were they interviewed?
Well their personalities are heaven and with Alan... it'd be hilarious!
Everytime they're on Alan Carr, they always deliver <3 It's not hard to see why they're so liked as a group.
Still #13 in the midweeks, streaming is very low for them, sadly and it won't make the top 10.
It will be 100% overtaken by 'Hotline Bling' by Friday, but Format:B will fall behind it. So most likely it'll be a second week at #13. Unless Eagles of Death Metal or Ariana Grande overtake.
Their Sunday Brunch performance was so boring, not a fan when performed acoustically
Still #13 in the mids today, and overtaking Sam Smith's 'The Writing's On The Wall' is looking very possible, so a new peak of #12 is probable.
#12 would be an excellent result all things considered I think! Nice to see this being a long running hit after all

Should be a non-mover at 13 today, with an outside chance of #12 but Sam looks like he'll just beat them. Next week might give them quite the tumble though (Now! versions of songs can make the top version fall quite fast), here's hoping they can remain top 20.
Another week at #13. 21-30-32-32-28-19-13-13

I really hope it doesn't take too much of a dive this week, their streaming is really taking a dive.
#16 in the mids, bound to overtake Adele with no streaming at #15 but will probably be overtaken by a few songs behind them, onlt 1,767 away from falling from the top 20.
OA/OS has really ruined this single's top 10 chances, I had hope it would pull a Notorious
Both versions #24 and #88 having green updates on iTunes (the second version dark green), I think they're around #17 combined. Here's hoping LMLY doesn't freefall too much before the RV performance, we need another last shot at the top 10!
Regardless of the top 10 peak it missed, it's hung around so well and I can see it at least hitting a ~15 week mark, which is pretty impressive. Some of their others have come and gone but I'd say this has made more of a mark and will have sold better. Plus, it's obviously done wonders for the album so that's another bonus.
They're currently promoting this in Japan where it's just debuted at #80 on the Japan Hot 100. Though Jesy is not with because an ear infection prevented her from flying there. Hope she feels better soon.
Just noticed that this is taking off in New Zealand now currently #21 on iTunes there
Previous peaks in New Zealand:
#15 Wings
#29 Change Your Life
#12 Move
#31 Black Magic
Dropped from the Radio 1 playlist after a good run of 7 weeks, hoping Capital and Heart start playing it a bit more until the RV performance. I still hear Black Magic about 3 times more on Heart (which plays the whole time at our office) than LMLY
I don't think Heart play it at all, do they - quite odd. It's still on the Capital playlist for another week, but hasn't been moved up so it'll still be 2/3 plays a day. Radio 1 showed excellent support for the song, hopefully they'll continue to play it after this week, maybe even the Christmas mix <3 Commercial airplay will increase the way Rudimental's has this week, if Royal Variety can push it into the iTunes top ten for a couple of days.
I'm not expecting top 100 officially but it would be nice to see it stay somewhat stable throughout December.
Oh I meant radio in general not Heart which is even more odd I must miss LMLY in the evenings or during smoke breaks
Yeah I really hope the Christmas Mix can get some kind of push with the RV and hopefully TOTP Christmas performances. It should outsell Salute (the single) quite easily.
Sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone know where this is on Spotify or have a link for the Spotify top 100? Thanks
I have word from my source that Syco sent the Christmas Mix of LMLY to radio stations yesterday. The song has also been moved up a place on the Capital playlist and Heart have started playing it..
Top 10 won't happen, it's too late now and their streaming is a bit shit. As long as possible stay in the top 40 though, please!
If streaming picks up it surely will have a shot though? Its sales have been a lot more steady than expected, Royal Variety, TOTP, Christmas Mix airplay are amazing promo...
LMLY should be around #17 in today's chart I imagine and with a very quiet release week ahead it shouldn't drop much in next week's chart either!
I'm strongly considering making flyers and handing them out to random people on the steet at this point This has to go top 10 we can't give up yet keep streaming LMLY everyone!
21-30-32-32-28-19-13-13-18
18 this week taking the total to 190k. Will probably chart around 25 next week, where it'll go silver.
Am I right in thinking this will be the first single to miss the top 10, but still become certified? Testament to what a jam LMLY is
I'm so pleased this will make silver as it genuinely is one of my favourite girl band tracks of like ever
The #13 peak is really such an injustice. I'm predicting it to at least trickle past 270k at some point!
Not much but they're appearing on Key 103 Christmas Live on Friday 11th December! Hopefully we get a rendition of the Xmas Mix!
Love Me Like You has already been played twice today on Radio 1 today despite being off the playlist as of today, which means like Wings, DNA, and Black Magic, it'll be continuing rotation after its playlist run.
Nick also said he's going to start playing the Christmas Mix this week!
Festive Little Mix Live Lounge next Monday!
They're doing Love Me Like You and a Christmas cover!
So excited. I wonder if they'll give us another mash up?
OMGGGGGGGGGGG can't wait!
18 in midweeks, probably looking at around #22 on Friday, another week top 20 would be great though!
Added to Capital's "S List" (their equivalent to "A List") due to them filling in for Ariana Grande and now doing BOTH nights at the Jingle Bell Ball! *.*
With increased Capital radio exposure, Royal Variety performance, Live Lounge, TOTP... this is looking extremely likely to sell at LEAST 350k overall and hopefully one last push into the top 10! (Although those sales considering it's peak so far, are phenomenal!)
It's passed 200k sales now, and will be awarded silver on Friday
First play of the Christmas Mix on Heart just now!
21-30-32-32-28-19-13-13-18-19...
10 weeks on chart, 5th week top 20, and now silver with roughly 210k! Hopefully Live Lounge/Royal V/ BBC Music Awards will help it climb next week, though it'll probably have more of an effect on the week after's chart.
Down to #22 but I'm hoping RV can at least push it back into the top 20 for another week (or two).
Why is this not released in the Usa?
Radio 1 just played the Christmas Mix and it sounded amazing.
Can't wait for LMLY to slay the charts again after Royal Variety tonight! Loved the preview!
Really enjoyed the performance. They're so polished and professional!
Pre-boost:
23 Little Mix Love Me Like You
162 Little Mix Love Me Like You
274 Little Mix Love Me Like You
1303 Little Mix Love Me Like You (Christmas Mix)
I wasn't a massive fan of the performance, I thought the backing track was a bit much.
I really enjoyed the performance (shock horror). I didn't think anything was bad about it. However, the pyrotechnics at the end were a little bit too loud But it wasn't a massive distraction for me.
So classy, elegant and so, SO beautiful.
Twitter and newspapers are slamming them for miming.
Definitely weren't miming
Well Twitter and the newspapers are being even more stupid than usual as that certainly wasn't mimed!
I think we should all agree that Viva Forever needs saved in the Spice Girls least favourite single over in the pop forum
I accept cash Jay x
Sold 20k (same as last week) but dipped 3 places. RV happened slightly too late in the week for it to have an effect.
21-30-32-32-28-19-13-13-18-19-22...[11 weeks]
There's an off chance it could climb next week. Fingers crossed. Commercial airplay seems to be keeping it stable. Hopefully X-Factor doesn't drown it.
21-30-32-32-28-19-13-13-18-19-22-22 [12 weeks]
Sold another 20k bringing the total to approx 250k
They performed the Christmas Mix last night on text Santa, but without Jes. What is going on with her? They were also shoved to the very end of the show. :/
Yeah. Why is Jesy missing some vital promo? I would say maybe her ear infection was just that bad, but she performed on XF over the weekend so... (unless it's back - ear infection is THE WORST) but either way, hope she's ok and manages to recover properly!
I was worried to see how they'd work without Jesy, but that performance was really good. Usually when a band member has disappeared from a performance or two, you notice and think "this doesn't work. They're not the same without ..." but in this performance, that didn't cross my mind once, which is a relief.
They've put out a Christmas Mix video on their YouTube (same video, just the Xmas mix instead):
I am hoping that everyone rushes to buy this with their iTunes gift vouchers after Christmas and it finally gets a peak inside the Top 10 The Christmas Mix has made me fall in love with it all over again.
That Christmas version is HIDEOUS.
Hopefully the album, black magic and especially this get gift card boosts!
This made the Christmas Top 101 on The Netherlands' prime adult radio at #79 for some reasom
Mixers were out in full force appaz :')
Back in the top 20 this week!
This is doing so well so I suppose there's SOME justice for it missing the Top 10.
It's crazy how it's sales that have kept this afloat while streaming was never there for it.
It's a shame Radio 1 never really play this since it was taken off the playlist. Usually they still play songs regularly if they've held up well which this has. I really think the live lounge drop out did have a bit of an effect in that regard.
I hope this can go gold at some point!
The girls missed a trick with the Christmas Mix. Had they released that start of December, performed an iconic Mean Girls-style routine on the X Factor Final (of course intertwined with Sax), and released a different Christmas video for it, it could have propelled it into the top 10. But maybe that seems like an awful lot of work just for a top 10 placing. Either way, it's held up a lot longer than I thought it would proving the UK really are here for LM this year.
This is performing very well in the singles chart, good chart run to date and the sales are building up to very respectable sales. Its a sleeper hit and i believe it has served well for selling what is now their biggest selling album to date.
praying it will be top 10 this week!! how streams for the song are doing?
I'd never have expected this to do as well as it has - next week it'll be their 5th biggest seller and I can see this going Gold given it's still Top 20, which is a great amount for a girl band single in general, not to mention the fact it was an OA/OS release. I suppose it would have been a Top 10 hit if it was held back a month but we all know well enough, particularly in this streaming age, that not making the Top 10 is not a big issue any more. The way this OA/OS release has been handled is fantastic, from when the video was released to when the promotion was placed. Hopefully it paves the way for more kinda fan-based acts, or at least girl/boy bands, to adopt this release strategy because they've shown that if the campaign is handled well and the song itself is good, then there's no reason for a song to drop down the charts to the point where it's too late to resurrect it.
Can't wait for the 'Secret Love Song' campaign to get under way - already been performing well on iTunes after the Jingle Bell Ball so a, surely inevitable, BRITs performance and another clever video should see it be at least a decent running Top 20 hit.
iTunes UK:
16. Love Me Like You (+2)
68. Love Me Like You (+44)
105. Love Me Like You (+8)
241. Love Me Like You
Spotify:
#36 United Kingdom (+3)
Chart seems a bit messed up with possibly streaming missing. Little Mix coming for a new peak? Or to re-peak at 13?
Listening to the chart atm, 14 getting played rn, and LMLY hasn't been played yet, so they've at least re-peaked
New Peak
#11
Yay for a new peak at least
Damn it! 11! Just missing top 10. But amazing to have a new peak
#11 is MUCH better, not to mention extending its impressive chart run.
Good for them.
Honestly, hands down to them. This song refuses to die
21-30-32-32-28-19-13-13-18-19-22-22-20-11
This has to be the oddest chart run of 2015. Peaking in its 14th week. I'm wondering if this can beat Black Magic's 19 weeks top 40? Maybe 22-29-33-36-38-40 or something as it's bound to fall quite a bit next week.
That jump though
Maybe i'm just being unrealistic because i'm so happy with the new peak but i'm quietly confident this can stick top 15 next week
#10 in Sales this week and #31 in Streaming, but #11 combined?? That's insane
Brilliant climb, loving what a long-running hit this is!
Pleased and annoyed at the same time that LMLY has climbed and has almost certainly peaked at #11 now. I wasn't expecting it to climb that much in all honesty.
Anyway, despite missing the Top 10, I'm really pleased with how well it's done. A potential 400k+ seller and fantastic longevity is by all means a great result.
So elated it's got a new peak, in its 14th week too. Amazing!
#11 is a bit frustrating, but I think we all know top 10 just isn't happening and they were miles out saleswise.
Week 1: 21,101
Week 2: 17,000 (estimate)
Week 3: 14,000 (estimate)
Week 4: 16,000 (estimate)
Week 5: 17,000 (estimate)
Week 6: 23,725
Week 7: 30,870
Week 8: 27,070
Week 9: 22,939
Week 10: 20,212
Week 11: 20,282
Week 12: 21,500 (estimate)
Week 13: 21,500 (estimate)
Week 14: 32,779
I didn't realise it had sold so much more than any other week last week.
I so wish this could have managed a week in the Top 10, but its longevity is very pleasing. I hope it ends up going gold!
This has achieved a wonderful chart run and i firmly believe it will be around for a few weeks yet and will become one of their biggest selling single to date. Love Me Like You Do will easily manage 400,000.
Haaaaa!
Love Me Like You is back down to where it was at #20 this week. Still holding strong in the top 40 though! I thought people would have found it to Christmassy and it'd freefall in January.
Unpinning this now that SLS is steadily gaining steam. What an interestingly successful singles campaign this has been for them. Initially "flopping" but once promo and airplay kicked in... it stabilised and is one of their top 5 selling singles! *.*
It's still got loads of life in it left. Top 5 on airplay, top 20 in the charts and number 2 commercial AirPlay.
that's amazing to be that high still! fully expect this to go Gold, and at least hit 20 weeks before dropping out of the top 40
It's freefalling on iTunes somewhat. I hope it manages another week or two top 40 after this week and doesn't dorp out to quickly.
#23 on Official Charts
What do its current overall sales stand at?
Yep, that's what I've got in the sales thread http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=161241
Climbed a bit on Spotify today #44
I fully expect this to spend at least another month in the top 40. If they perform at the BRITs it could possibly rebound a bit that week aswell.
In that case, it should have no trouble crossing 400,000 sometime soon which is a brilliant result!
I think it might scrape 2, this week in the high 30s and dropping to 40 the week after. Tbh all I'm bothered about now is it going gold, because that would be the cherry on top of a hugely successful singles campaign
Down to 36 this week - not really unexpected due to all the Bowie songs, although I wonder if it could recover a little next week?
21-30-32-32-28-19-13-13-18-19-22-22-20-{11}-23-36
Such a baffling chart run.
I'd love to see it sneak one more week in, but can see it just missing out. They've passed the torch now, though.
How many consecutive weeks have Little Mix been top 40 now since Black Magic hit 1? I wonder how long Secret Love Song can keep it up?
Love Me Like You Do will hopefully stay around the lower regions of the charts for a few weeks to come.
I've been watching the video for this the last few days and honestly think it's still their best yet, am I completely alone in thinking this?!
The X Factor perf is probably my fave perf of the era so far! Closely followed by the BRITs perf obvz. But I love that they carried the video theme onto the XF perf.
One year since the video and the song still remains as incredible as ever!
I still love this! I wonder if it'll get played on radio near Christmas.
If they do a kind of "Little Mix Party" ITV show, hopefully they don't miss a trick and perform the Christmas mix of this.
With autumn setting in, this is really growing on me again. I loved this song so much last year, I love the wintery feeling for it.
I'm another one who's listening to this lots again now the weather is changing and it's getting darker earlier. It makes me feel all christmasy and warm
This has grown to become one of my favourite songs by them. Plus the music video is definitely up there with their best too
Looking forward to listening to the Christmas mix again soon *.*
LMLY has been Vevo certified.
Their 8th video to reach 100 million views - the most of any girl group. Will be 9 with Touch soon.
All their Get Weird videos are now certified
