2024 Week 7 Results:
Calvin Harris x Rag'n'Bone Man - Lovers In A Past Life [ 6 ] ** [46.15%] John Summit x Hayla - Shiver [ 2 ] ** [15.38%] Salute - System [ 2 ] ** [15.38%] Martin Garrix x Third Party x Oaks x Declan J Donovan - Carry You [ 1 ] ** [7.69%] Gryffin x Rita Ora - Last of Us [ 1 ] ** [7.69%] Tinlicker x Julia Church - Glasshouse [ 1 ] ** [7.69%] Nia Archives - Silence Is Loud [ 0 ] ** [0.00%] Zac Brown Band x Avicii - Beautiful Drug [ 0 ] ** [0.00%] Tiebreak: Jax Jones x Zoe Wees - Never Be Lonely [ 7 ] ** [53.85%] Shygirl x SG Lewis - Mr Useless [ 6 ] ** [46.15%] A fairly convincing win for Calvin Harris as expected although he didn't quite manage to get 50% of the vote which he surpassed with 'Miracle' last year. Meanwhile Jax Jones just about pipped Shygirl to the tiebreak victory - it is the 2nd tiebreak Shygirl has lost this year. Ooop I forgot to vote on time again in the last one (I was going to last night but obviously slipped my mind again), although just as well I guess as I would have just made the tiebreak tied again

Belated rankings from last week:
1 salute 2 Calvin Harris 3 Nia Archives 4 Tinlicker 5 John Summit 6 Zac Brown Band 7 Gryffin 8 Martin Garrix salute coming through with a banger as per usual. Think I also like the Calvin song enough to playlist, not as good as 'Miracle' but a huge improvement on 'Desire'. Nia and Tinlicker both quite good, John and Zac decent, Gryffin and Martin meh. Would have voted for Shygirl in tiebreak but nvm x |

1 Kiesza
2 Sebastian Ingrosso 3 LF SYSTEM 4 Rudimental 5 Hannah Laing 6 Issey Cross 7 SILK 8 Switch Disco Another good track from Kiesza which I'll add to my playlist. The Sebastian Ingrosso track is basically just a remix of Groove Armada's 'Get Down' I guess, that is a great song but I can't say it doesn't just make me want to listen to the original. 3-5 are pretty good, 6 is ok, 7 is mid, 8 is an affront to decency. |
