Zara will also have the TOTP effect on Sunday good time to get a Number 1 also technically first Number 1 of 2017 with the week ending 5th January.

There's no real boost on the 23/12 & Christmas Eve for Xmas songs anymore is there on iTunes?

Leona and Chris Rea used to zoom up at this time to new iTunes peaks - they all seem to stay steady and obv streaming sees huge boost still!

I always go by the day the chart is announced for e.g. A lot of people class "Happy" as the first #1 of 2014 but I class it as the final #1 of 2013

I always go by the OCC site, they have a list on there, if they have a new track at #1 with week ending 1st January it would be listed in the new year.

They use the week ending dates but the archives are dated with the week beginning dates on their HTML

The Honey G song sounds straight out of the early 2000s! I wish it had more of a hook but still it's quite fun to listen to! What have they done to her vocals though laugh.gif
