Don't think it's that, it's just that it hasn't gone to ACR yet
once it goes to ACR it will be forever but it has to go to ACR before they implement the 3.yr rule |

I’d be good if the vast majority of the 1 week declines would hit ACR on the same week, would make for a very interesting chart. I don’t think there’s to be any improvement in weather anytime soon so a lot of them may continue to fall

So that's 19 songs on DCL-1 compared to 8 on DCL-2, DCL-3 and SCR (at 7+ weeks) combined... I have to say I'm losing patience with the current rules, as it seems too easy for multiple songs to avoid it with minimal increases in streams due to good weather like we had (early) last week.
Rather than any increase being enough to avoid ACR, I think it should be an increase of more than the streaming market OR something like 2.5%. If a song increases by 0.1% when the market increases 4%, that wouldn't suggest it's coming back into any sort of favour to justify ACR avoidance. |

Does the weather still have as much of an effect now? It was quite prominent at the height of lockdown and with obvious reasons but feel it would be less obvious now.

Ah ok. This years the first in ages I've paid any attention to the chart.
Do schools have any affect? I'd have thought it might have an overall dip in a fortnight once they're open again if kids are now otherwise occupied more but maybe not. |
