The obvious one is of course to get fully involved in Junior Eurovision! *.*

I've never majorly suffered with this. Sure it's deflating the day after, though there are always lots of things to analyse and numbers to crunch, but after that I just throw myself back into other music quite easily.

I can see how it can be hard for people whose music taste is 90% Eurovision, 10% everything else, which is actually a startling number of people I know, but for me I just get quite excited that I'll have more time to devote to other music in the second half of the year laugh.gif

I feel this every time I watch Dami's final performance. (Which is every day.)

I usually have to go cold turkey on eurovision stuff until it starts getting, well, cold again because I know I get so into it especially in April and May. Essentially I'm a "Binge Eurovisioner"

You know VERY STRANGELY I haven't had it so bad in recent years? I get post-Melodifestivalen depression a bit more actually. This year it was all over and done with in a day or two, whereas about 5/6 years ago I'd be feeling it for a good fortnight.

Nonetheless I would heartily recommend throwing yourself into the oldies as a recovery technique *.*

I... have managed to go a while without properly listening to old Eurovision songs this year, been focusing on a few other things but at the same time I've been not thinking about it for so long that I am quite ready to throw back into NF season when it does start (maybe this'll be the year I'll actually join Ryan/Adam on watching some of these insane early heats in Albania).
