Mmm, yes. There's certainly a disconnect at all levels of society with how willing we are to forgive offenses committed by the elites. On a natural level, of course we're abhorred by them getting away with it but just look at the different language we apply to rich and poor people - eccentric versus crazy for example. For a more practical example, the Tory leadership contest drug admission extravaganza.

A single mother fails to declare something whilst gerring benefits. 6 months jail. Tory mps forget to declare TWENTY HOUSES, etc thousands of pounds, have Cayman money, etc, and get an article on two in the papers, before Murdoch sweeps the story away.

The MP in my home town of Barnsley, Eric Illsley, was JAILED for fiddling his expenses so it's Labour MP's too. |

'We Plan To Cut All Homeless People In Half By 2025' - 'Conservatives'
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/cut-homel...people-in-half/ Before AQ gets triggered, the article goes on to say it was a fake 'However, this wasn’t a genuine political sign created by a hapless (if well-intentioned) party functionary. It was the work of a street artist who goes by the name of Foka Wolf on Instagram, self-identifies as a “Professional Gobshite,” and has posted other similar signs lampooning UK conservatives'. ******************* Good one, though. |

That's a bit like when the Islington Tories last week tweeted that people with mental health issues need to be "neutered". Even if it was a typo, but I'd say it's perfectly illustrative of their core values.

When the former leader was the one slapping backbenchers down? |

Absolutely vile party. Who gives a shit what clothes people wear? Another barrier from the posh twats to political power expansion.

Tories: do something shitty Someone: points it out You: "Why are you blaming the Tories?!?!?!" Tories: smirk and keep doing the thing But there are some on this forum who will literally blame them for *everything* regardless of whose fault it actually is - curiously they are also the first to complain whenever Labour are unfairly blamed... |

No, we don't do that. I'm confident that we are fairly critical of all. Be a nasty party, get more criticism. That's how the game works.

The dead cat strategy is being rolled out again. What does a party do when they're being accused of covering up an embarrassing report about Russian interference? They get a minister to say something utterly offensive and stupid. |
