It originally seemed to just be an instant grat as it was released to coincide with an advert premiere in the US, but it looks like they perhaps realise LWYMMD may have quite a short life cycle (it was the ultimate comeback track but I doubt its designed to be a long-running megahit even though it probably will be) so think it may be good to have something else as a single until the next single which I imagine is scheduled for beginning of November.

...Ready For It? is performing quite astonishingly well for an instant grat really, it's sensible for them to jump on board and promote it to a single at this point! Strike while the iron's hot and get two songs receiving heavy airplay together.

Didn't realise they'd changed their slogan... but I suppose 'More Music Variety' is a bit misleading these days
That said, it still remains to be a popular station AND the newer tracks on that playlist are considerably popular so it makes sense for them to playlist them as they suit their 'sound'. |
