Good start - let's hope this speeds up the chart, also the OCC are launching the official charts on streaming services which could further slow down the charts if people just stream the Top 40 playlist nocheer.gif

They have 11 channels but the main one seems to pull in 450,000 viewers/listeners per day.

They should have just launched the trending chart on both streaming services and MTV and left the official chart playlist off streaming services. Putting the official chart playlist on streaming services rather than the trending chart is such an own goal by The OCC, it's going to make the charts even slower and less interesting to follow.

I really can't see these playlists having any kind of noticeable effect on the charts anyway tbh, most people seem to use either the Spotify top 50 playlist or Hot Hits UK...

Galway Girl & Perfect are the #1 and #2 this week, but the other Eds seem to have been excluded cheer.gif

Yeah they have a rule only allowing a maximum of 2 songs per artist on the trending chart!

I'd be annoyed if the OCC's 'solution' is for artists to be limited to 2 songs in the singles chart, it would give Castle on the Hill a 2-2-2-2-2-3-4-3-OUT chart run which makes no sense laugh.gif
