Here is a Link to a Global Singles Chart Site.

http://artisteschartsventes.blogspot.com/

It is created/run by a French fellow called Eric.

Just 'Click-On' the Artists on the right-hand side, to see their Global Hit Singles and their Peaks...

He uses the wrong Singles Chart for Canada, which is why he says that 'Dancing Queen' reached
No.2 there. In the 'Official' Canadian Singles Charts it was a No.1 Hit - for 2 Weeks. So ABBA should
have 132 Global No.1 Singles - not 131.

Zeus - quite an interesting site which I'd not seen before, although there are - I suppose inevitably - various anomalies, beyond just whether the charts he's using are regarded locally as 'official' or otherwise. How does he make the UK charts date from 1950, for example?! Maybe he uses the sheet music tabulations before late 1952, but that doesn't seem quite right to me, especially as they would go back further anyway so no reason to begin from that year. It's also news to me that the Australian charts can be dated back as far as 1940, while he only seems to date the US ones from ten years later, despite Billboard having begun publishing a singles sales chart from mid-1940?!

For pre-1952 UK charts I found two different sources :

Firstly #1 list (first chart from May 1947) : https://www.old-record-shop.co.uk/numberone...umber-Ones.aspx (possibly it's sheet music)

This site have full weekly charts from 1940 : http://hitsofalldecades.com/chart_hits/ind...1&Itemid=52

For Australia :
David Kent later publicized the Australian charts from 1940–1973 in a retrospective fashion using state by state chart data obtained from various Australian radio stations.
