1 | Name a song performed by Amy Adams in any of her movie roles.

Amy Adams has a lovely voice and she has shown it off to great effect in 3 of her movies, most famously in Enchanted where she sang the Oscar nominated Happy Working Song, my all time favourite song That's How You Know (both songs being the most popular) and the duet True Loves Kiss with James Marsden. She also added vocals to If I Didn't Care with Lee Pace in Miss Petigrew Lives For A Day and Life's A Happy Song and Me Party in The Muppets. She did not sing I Dreamed A Dream, well she might have, but not on screen. American Hustle was a movie and not a song, assuming Mack misread the question.

5 | That’s How You Know (Regina, Acidburn, notfurlong, Cameron, Jahq, dhwe)
5 | Happy Working Song (Joe., Josh, Leonardo, Chez, Oliver, Haus)
2 | Me Party (Ritchie, Jonjo, Ultraviolence)

0 | Life’s A Happy Song (Harry)
0 | I Dreamed a Dream (Dobbo)
0 | American Hustle (Mack)

Yay a lucky guess <3 Looked through a few, saw 'That’s How You Know' had been Oscar nominated, thought "oh that's good logic to use" and didn't notice other songs had been nominated too laugh.gif

2 | Name a movie in which Shawn Ashmore meets a grisly end (in other words, he croaks it).

I've seen a fair few of Shawn's movies and he tends to die in them, a lot. He does get a nice variety though, I've seen him; beheaded, melted, stabbed, run over, eaten by wolves, cannibalised and shot. Poor bast*rd, he rarely gets to the end of his movies. On the upside, he has less lines to learn than other people. X-men: Days of Future Past is his most recent movie and he dies multiple times in that, so it comes as no surprise to see it as the post popular answer here, he also rocks some seriously sexy facial hair in it. The Ruins, in which we see him shower in the rain and show off his mighty bulge is close behind and Frozen, a horror movie set in the mountains and not the Disney movie is a close third. He was never in Titanic and I have no idea if Werewolves Luv Vampires 4 is real but it sounds like a bad porno.

5 | X-men: Days of Future Past (Regina, Joe., notfurlong, Leonardo, Oliver, Haus)
4 | The Ruins (Jonjo, Acidburn, Harry, Ultraviolence, dhwe)
3 | Frozen (Josh, Cameron, Jahq, Chez)

0 | The Day (Mack)
0 | Werewolves Luv Vampires 4 (Ritchie)
0 | Titanic (Dobbo)

Ah, X-men seems like the obvious choice there but I sort of forgot that those characters in the future died, seems silly to have overlooked that now D:

3 | Name a still living person who only needs a Tony in order to become an EGOT.

9 | Kate Winslet (Regina, Joe., Jonjo, Acidburn, Josh, Cameron, Mack, Leonardo, Ultraviolence, Chez)
3 | Cher (notfurlong, Harry, Jahq, dhwe)

0 | Julie Andrews (Oliver)
0 | Martin Scorsese (Haus)

0 | Steve Martin (Ritchie)
0 | Tony Hadley (Dobbo)

For those unaware, an EGOT is a person who has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, thus proving they are a force of nature in the worlds of television, music, movie and theatre. There are a few people who are only one award away from becoming a full EGOT (so are just an EGO right now) and the one who is probably most likely to get that Tony is Kate Winslet, who won her Emmy for Mildred Pierce, Grammy for Listen to the Storyteller and an Oscar for The Reader. Cher is the only other name to get points for people and is probably less likely to become a full EGOT. Julie Andrews and Martin Scorsese are both correct but non scoring answers and I'm not dignifying the other two with a response.

4 | Name a 90’s Rom Com that starred Meg Ryan and her old face.

9 | Sleepless in Seattle (Joe., Acidburn, notfurlong, Harry, Mack, Jahq, Chez, dhwe, Oliver, Haus)
4 | You’ve Got Mail (Regina, Jonjo, Josh, Leonardo, Ultraviolence)

0 | When A Man Loves A Woman (Cameron)
0 | When Harry Met Sally (Ritchie)
0 | Sex On the Beach (Dobbo)

Back in the 90's and early 00's, Meg Ryan was a force of nature with her movies, she basically ruled the romantic genre. Along the way she had help from a certain Tom Hanks, they did 3 movies together, but the ones that were mainly about them were Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail, both of which were the scoring answers here. You've Got Mail is my preferred Meg-Tom film, a much nicer story, but SiS is by far the better known one.
When A Man Loves A Woman isn't what I call a comedy, but it still fitted the main criteria I guess and When Harry Met Sally is a Rom Com but alas, it came out in December 1989, so just a month out of the time frame I asked for. Sex On The Beach is a big no no.

5 | Name a song by Céline Dion that was written and recorded especially for a movie.

17 | My Heart Will Go On (Regina, Joe., Ritchie, Dobbo, Jonjo, Acidburn, Josh, notfurlong, Harry, Cameron, Mack, Leonardo, Jahq, Ultraviolence, Chez, dhwe, Oliver, Haus)

Originally I planned to make this question "Other than My Heart Will Go On..." but I decided to be nice to you all and let you have some easy points. I think I worded the question a but stupidly too, I really meant a song that was used as a theme for a movie but also on her albums, but nobody fell into any traps so it doesn't matter much.
If anyone is interested, the other choices you coulda gone for are Beauty & The Beast (Beauty & The Beast), Because You Loved Me (Up Close And Personal), When I Fall In Love (Sleepless In Seattle) Then You Look At Me (The Bicentennial Man) or Unfinished Songs (Song For Marion). My Heart Will Go On is obviously from Titanic and is one of the best selling songs of all time so the safest bet, slay Céline, slay. If you are unaware of these songs then I fully recommend them, especially Then You Look At Me which features some insane vocals from Ms. Dion.
