#19: Titanic With five votes, Titanic is third to sink out of the competition in Round 2. I'm quite gutted by this, as it was one of my favourites out of the remaining films and it means that another of the films scored by the late great James Horner has crashed out of the competition. Three votes: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, The Sixth Sense Two votes: Guardians of the Galaxy, Big Hero 6 One vote: Finding Nemo, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Forrest Gump No votes: Marvel's The Avengers, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, The Dark Knight Rises, Toy Story 3, Jurassic Park, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Hunger Games |

Absolutely gutted Titanic is out, easily in my top 5 movies ever I love it so much and have seen it so many times (and cry every time!) and I literally just love everything about it

'Titanic' is incredibly slow to start with, but as soon as the boat hits the iceberg... AMAZING and things get turned up a notch or two!
I went for 'Forrest Gump' solely on the basis that I haven't seen it yet (it's the only one in the list I haven't seen - I'm hoping to change it soon!) |

The Dark Knight Rises is my least favorite out of the remaining movies that I've seen (still haven't seen Sixth Sense). Still pretty good though.

I've voted Big Hero 6 because I haven't seen it but I'm really surprised that X-Men - DOFP hasn't had any votes. It really is rather derivative and nothing special even by X-Men standards. And Mockingjay part 1 is no great shakes either but there's nothing bad about it. The rest are actually a rather strong set of films as far as blockbusters go. Not quite up there with The Godfather or Citizen Kane but great films.
Sixth Sense deserves to stay as it's quietly smart, wonderfully acted and raises some interesting questions. |

First Avatar, then Titanic, now LOTR 3 and The Sixth Sense leading. MAD.

Totally agree with a lot of this. The Sixth Sense is a gorgeous movie. The scene in the car with Toni Collette where she realises Cole is telling the truth and she slowly starts to cry is so beautifully acted it gives me goosebumps every time. Toni is absolutely incredible. Depending what goes next, Big Hero 6, X-Men DOFP then Mockingjay 1 will probably get my votes. They're not bad by any stretch of the imagination, they just don't quite stack up to the blockbusters that are left, all of which I've seen multiple times. I'm genuinely confused at Return Of The King being tied on most votes for this round though. Like, what??? We should easily go another 10 rounds at least before any of the LOTR movies are voted out. You can change my vote to Big Hero 6 if that would help. I should have voted for that.
