11th - 6.559 - Escape Highest Scores: 11 - SouthernStar88 | 9 - ilovepollo Lowest Scores: 3 - spiceboy | 5 - Andrew., RobBot MBE The first song to leave from the main standard 10 track album is Escape, a stripped-back electro ballad. Interestingly the word 'escape' is only mentioned once in the entire song, as the last word of the first verse. The most repeated phrase in this song is 'let it go'! This is the first song we've lost that was given a score of 11, but otherwise only two other voters considered Escape to be worthy of a score of 8 or more. My favorite 😭❤️ |

10th - 7.176 - Fearless (feat. Nadia Rose)
Highest Scores: 10 - engineer | 9.5 - Voodoo Lowest Scores: 3 - Mr.X | 5 - Fleetwood Maz, ilovepollo The fourth single to be taken from 'Melanie C' leaves in 10th place, but nevertheless it achieves a respectable average of over 7! The empowering 'Fearless' is the only collaboration on the album, which sees Melanie pair up with London rapper Nadia Rose. I’m a super Spice Girls fan so this whole experience has been very surreal. Melanie C: "Meeting Nadia was kismet. I’d seen her on Kathy Burke’s documentary series on women [Channel 4’s ‘Kathy Burke’s All Woman’] and fallen in love with her attitude. As female artists, we have to be fearless. I love this girl." Nadia Rose: "It’s no secret that I’m a super Spice Girls fan so this whole experience has been very surreal. Melanie C is an incredible human being; creating with her has been nothing short of perfect. [This is a] feel-good song that makes you feel great." |

It's one of the worst features I can remember. I've not heard any other of Nadia's music but it sounds like she is taking the piss.

9th - 7.176 - End of Everything
Highest Scores: 10 - vibe, Voodoo Lowest Scores: 3 - engineer | 4 - Andrew. End of Everything achieved the same average score as Fearless, but places higher in the results due to the fact it received more 10 scores than Fearless. End of Everything is the closing track on 'Melanie C', and is probably the song that is closest to being ballad-esque on the album. When talking about the song, Melanie C described its meaning as being "completely about that embracing of change, and not being fearful. I think there’s been times in my career where I felt apologetic or embarrassed. I’m not going to do that anymore. [...] I was so fearful of change I didn’t change management for 18 years when I should have. I didn’t, but when I did it, everything changed, and it brought me new life." |

Here I Am should have gone out a while ago tbh
It's strange but I havent really gone back much to this album bar a couple of tracks that pop up on my spotify playlists such as Who I Am and Overload... Might give it another go tonight, see if it still sticks |

Might give it another go tonight, see if it still sticks I haven't gone back to it much either but then every now and then one of the songs pops up and I think ooh I'll put the album on and end up loving it again. Tbf I think that's because I don't really listen to recent music I'm much more into old albums like Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Like a prayer, Ziggy Stardust, Heart of Stone etc... |

8th - 7.324 - Nowhere to Run
Highest Scores: 9 - Babyboy, Mr.X Lowest Scores: 6 - engineer, Jay, Vibe The brooding Nowhere to Run is the next song out. Melanie says that the lyrics are "inspired by experiences of panic attacks. I think sadly, lots of people have experienced those things. It’s something I’ve never explored before, within a song you know. So, yeah absolutely. It’s kind of the journey, how difficult it can be. And then the light at the end of the tunnel, the celebration beyond that where you really can accept all of those aspects of yourself. That’s really what I wanted to get across on this album." |
