what I remember as the weakest 2 songs in this semi were up first but Woman Show was appropriately fun and bonkers, 'Stranded' is just horrendously boring and needs to be knocked out post-haste.

been so long since NF season man good to get it going

So, I have a few concerns with this.
Why can I download the NRK app, but streaming MGP is geoblocked. But, I can goto their website and stream MGP? Make it make sense.

Woman Show: why does this song have 37 writers?! Why is it a Woman Show when there are two men?!

Stranded: apart from a few bum notes this was okay.

Heart On Fire awe I feel bad for her because that was terrible. FIND THE KEY GURL.

We Come Alive: needs work. The makeup and the performance was cheap as. This was actually pretty good but deserves a completely different performance.

Eya: probably the one I had the least issues with, except boring as hell.

Oblivion: I love that we get the songs a week early, but for Margaret she got lost in a sea of songs that were much better than hers. I do like this however, cool bop. It’s not Eurovision worthy. She will go DTF on name alone, and lost once again in a sea of better songs.

I didn't care for the first three but I tuned in to the last three. We Come Alive looked empty on stage but otherwise the camera angles are pretty good. Eya had a really strong choreo but she got muffled in the chorus. I think Margaret saved her energy for tonight. She sounded pretty shaky vocally. The art style of the staging is pretty good (brutalist style iinm) but there is too much colour in the chorus (I think it's the yellow) -- in the sense it should have kept two main colours (bluish grey and white).

For me Oblivion is much stronger as a song than the other ones so should qualify on the song and name alone.

just been freeloading off a probably illegal youtube stream to not bother with any local broadcaster finicky-ness 👀

We Come Alive, Eya and Oblivion really should be the qualifiers, they're all ahead of the first 3. Think Eya might end up being my favourite of the semi, We Come Alive went into it as my favourite but it's not unassailable as a goth fave by any means - cool to see him without his makeup though

Excited for You're Mine despite knowing nothing about Mileo and it being destined not to goto the final!
I'm thinking likely Heartache, My AI and Ulveham tomorrow?

Current Top 4 in the Betting Odds:

KEiiNO: 2
Super Rob, Erika: 2.75
Gåte: 4.25
Margaret Berger: 9

This is the first time I've seen KEiiNO in front of My AI actually.

Yes the YouTube Stream recommendation was absolutely the right one.

Yep. Mileo and KEiiNO will be the final 2 for MGP this year.

Farida: my word she looks stunning. Shaky vocals in places, questionable performance but I do hope she sneaks thru.

Mileo: NOW I get the hype, there’s a reason this is in the top half of the betting odds. I think he could beat out Farida for a final spot actually (probably not tho).

Eli Kristin: my word this heat is 100x better than last week. I’ve adored Touch Of Venus since it was released, alas. Three aren’t moving on and I likely think she’s one of the three.

Super Rob, Erika: please don’t send this and I will end myself if they beat KEiiNO in the final. I have no doubt however Norway will send this. Ugh.

Judge Tenderly Of Me: Cute!

Gåte: I mean, to say I haven’t been eagerly awaiting this… I mean. Wow. I have no words. This is the best thing I’ve seen come out of MGP. The performance, the song, the vocals. This better win MGP this year and I expect it probably will.

Want: Gåte, Mileo, Farida
Think: Gåte, Super Rob & Erika, Farida

all I want is for Ulveham to get through here on instinct - had to miss the performances but I am intrigued from that description of 'You're Mine', which passed me by so far.

Great semi final, but 1/3 on my guesses. Surprised that one of Mileo or Farida didn’t make the final.

Oh Ulveham was really good! The vocals are a bit shaky in the mid-range but the high notes are amazing. The staging is a bit too dark though

Unless KEiiNO come in with a performance that goes well with the song (something vibrant, inviting) I think Ulveham has this in the bag.

Vida Villar: I’ve loved MER over the last few weeks! The performance was vibrant and fun, but yeah not really a winner. Very good tho!

Mistra: probably the one song I’ve slept on this year. LIAMOO and Hanna Ferm want their staging back. This is better than MER slightly, but probably still not THEE one.

Take Me To Heaven: cute, poppy, vocals pretty much on point too! The song is so lacklustre and forgettable however. But, very good performance actually. Kinda want this to sneak thru. He kinda ate?!

AnnPrincess: this has been HIGH on my list since I heard the track - Top 5 of this year perhaps?!
That whole performance and staging needs a lot of work however. Still one of my favourites this year.. but that performance wasn’t great.

MIIA: this song hasn’t grown on me anymore since it was released. It’s a nice pleasant song but what is it doing here?! Vocals on point however.

KEiiNO: Ulveham found rotting. This wins at Eurovision too. Perfect performance.

I actually think these results could be all over the place. Some big names here but the tracks themselves are all lacklustre. I’m indecisive. I think MER, Green Lights and KEiiNO make it thru, but i also wouldn’t be surprised if one or more doesn’t.

Heat 2 > 3 > 1 this year.
