ULTIMATE DANCE 2010s // 2010

The First Round: 2010

This last decade has been brilliant for dance music and now that it's well and truly over it's about time we went through it and decide which tunes are the best! Unlike regular Ultimate Dance which ran last year, only songs released in the 2010s will be eligible. As it is a decade-only edition the rounds will be split into years. We start with 2010 which was the year Swedish House Mafia (pictured) first officially formed.

The top rated track of the decade in Ultimate Dance was 'Faded' by Alan Walker (finishing in 9th), so that is in theory the favourite to win here overall. The highest placed track from 2010 was Pendulum 'Watercolour' in 28th.

As ever what constitutes as dance is a fine line so I may have made an error of judgement, if there's a track you think should or shouldn't be on here then let me know.

You may vote for up to 20 songs, made up of the year's UK top 100 hits that fit the dance genre. The top 5 will auto-qualify to the final and the remainder of the top 20 will go to the semi-finals.
