He has another one out too called 'You and Me' if you haven't noticed!
Production wise I expect this Selena collab to be more in line with 'Silence' rather than the less commercial sound of the likes of 'You and Me' sadly. Which means the cheesy eurodance reminiscent synths and buildups I like from marshmello will probably be left out of this one.

I haven't really taken to any tracks by Marshmello yet (Silence is still growing) but new Selena is never a bad thing, hyped!

I like the build up but the drop is so dull. With the build up and the great vocal it feels like it's leading up to a real banger, in the way "Tears" by Clean Bandit did. Oh well.

One minute in and I'm SHOOK. The only critique I have for this is that this seems very subdued for Marshmello and I've been following the dude since his Monstercat days.
Also apparently she and Demi reunited for real and the entire world is quaking. Selegend did THAT.

I think I’m the opposite to most people here...I love the drop but the rest is pretty lacklustre. The build up is so Avicii five years ago 😴 love the drop though. I’ll probably still listen to it quite a bit because her voice >>>> but come on, Selena, give us another ‘Fetish’ 😍

Not great imo, just reminds me in terms of style a bit of It Ain't Me which I don't like, although the drop is less annoying without those repetitive pitched vocals.
I really wanted to see some of the more unique Marshmello sound we got on Alone with yes the trap drop but a glorious Alice Deejay style eurotrance inspired buildup complete with synths.
If Marshmello was to become big, why did he have to water down his sound so much on his two collabs with big names Khalid and Selena. His recent song You and Me was more of his less commercial sound which he should bring to the fore rather than apparently trying to sound in terms of music style like Kygo or The Chainsmokers.

I'm with Cremey on this one! I think the drop is the strongest element but the rest of the song does nothing for me at all. disappointed as I am loving 'Silence' so much at the moment.

The video is out now but only on Apple Music. She's performing it for the first time at the AMAs on Sunday so it should go top 10 in the US after that. I imagine it'll be something special as she said on Insta that some of her favourite awards show moments have come from previous AMAs.

*_* Still can't believe how much bigger she is in the US than she is here! "Love You Like a Love Song" and "Same Old Love" not going top 40, "Hands to Myself" not going top 10 and "Come & Get It" not going to #1 are all CRIMES! I hope she gets a long overdue fourth top ten with this.

Her performance from the AMAs was pretty terrible The only video available on YouTube is a side by side of the rehearsal (left) and live performances:
BUT this has now become her fourth official top 10 in the UK! I still can't believe half of them are from 2017 but yas at her comeback finally sort-of happening. Hopefully the album comes early 2018 although god knows if "Bad Liar" and "Fetish" will actually appear on it.
