Surprising!

Minus her outfit and bad weave the performance itself is still really good. The choreography is on point and it was by far still the best of the night, by far.

Went for 'Slave'. But she really does have/been a part of the most iconic (for right or for wrong) VMA performances of all time/our generation at least!

I also voted Slave. It is just frickin' perfect. The look, the set, the snake, her SUPERB dancing, and she was serving some FIERCENESS. She was workin bitch!

Oops!/Satisfaction... t'was the first time I saw Britney and realised she was something else (not that I didn't feel it before that, but this performance sort of cemented that sentiment for me): moves perfectly executed and an unparalelled stage presence at the time.

Oops! That performance is what cemented her as a superstar, I remember how "shocking" it was at a time. It also marked the beginning of Hot!ney
