Charles Otto Puth Jr. (/puːθ/) (born December 2, 1991) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Puth's initial exposure came through the viral success of his song videos uploaded to YouTube.

Biography

Born and raised in Forest Gate, East London, British hip-hop producer, songwriter, and DJ Steel Banglez's first steps into music came when his mother taught him how to play various classical Indian instruments at a young age. Picking up the music bug, Banglez was then taught how to DJ by his older brother before immersing himself in the then-growing grime and U.K. garage scenes, regularly appearing on local pirate radio stations. After studying music production and audio engineering at London's SAE -- and finding himself serving time behind bars -- Banglez started producing for local talent, making a name for himself with tracks for the likes of Ghetts and Yung Meth, Wiley, and P Money. Bad is hugely catchy but sounds a lot like everything these artists have already done in 2017 when they all broke through - Not3s, Mr Eazi, Mostack & Yungen - all going down the J Hus grime route!

Clean Bandit are a British electronic music group formed in Cambridge in 2008. The band consists of Grace Chatto, Jack Patterson and Luke Patterson. Their 2010 single "Mozart's House" reached number 17 on the UK Singles Chart when re-released in 2013. Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. Sheeran was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. He attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford as an undergraduate from the age of 18 in 2009. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (read as "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified seven-times platinum in the UK. The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. Alecia Beth Moore (born September 8, 1979), known professionally as Pink (stylized as P!nk), is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. She was signed to her first record label with original R&B girl group Choice in 1995. The label, LaFace Records, only saw potential in Pink, offering her a solo deal. Choice disbanded in 1998. Pink rose as an artist with her debut solo album, Can't Take Me Home (2000). Kendrick Lamar Duckworth (born June 17, 1987) is an American rapper and songwriter. Born and raised in Compton, California, he embarked on his musical career as a teenager under the stage name K-Dot, releasing a mixtape that garnered local attention and led to his signing with indie record label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). He began to gain recognition in 2010, after his first retail release, Overly Dedicated. The following year, Lamar independently released his first studio album, Section.80, which included his debut single, "HiiiPoWeR". Looking at kendricks back catalog such a pity he wasn't commercially huge when Swimming Pools (Drank) & Backstreet Freestyle were released - his favs of mine along with Humble!!

Biography

There has to be some credit given for this band's name alone -- co-founder John Gourley once explained it as an attempt to create a demi-mythic entity bigger than the individual members. Formed in Wasilla, Alaska, experimental indie pop group Portugal. The Man grew out of the ashes of Anatomy of a Ghost, a post-hardcore band whose vocalist and guitarist -- Gourley and Zach Carothers, respectively -- opted to continue working together. Rounding out the new band's lineup was keyboardist/singer Wes Hubbard, himself a veteran of other Alaskan groups, and the trio eventually relocated from Alaska to Portland, Oregon. Their initial existence in the Pacific Northwest was the typical hardscrabble life of a band with few resources, but drummer Jason Sechrist (formerly of Konmai Defense System) joined to form a more stable lineup. The band's profile received a boost from the Internet (the musicians made heavy use of MySpace and PureVolume for promotional purposes), and Portugal. The Man released an EP in 2005 before issuing their debut album, Waiter: You Vultures!, in early 2006.

In 2007, the group (whose lineup had once again reverted to three members, as Hubbard had left and was replaced by touring keyboardist Ryan Neighbors) issued Church Mouth, whose aggressive sound bore traces of Led Zeppelin and Jane's Addiction. The bandmates then opted to finance their third record themselves, drawing upon a wealth of guest musicians -- including trombonists, trumpeters, and violinists -- to create the eclectic Censored Colors. In 2009 the group released The Satanic Satanist, which became their first record to chart on the Billboard 200. They quickly followed it with the mellower and more electronic American Ghetto, and the band signed with Atlantic Records later in 2010.

Guitarist Noah Gersh joined the lineup for Portugal. The Man's 2011 summer tour, and the group recorded its major-label debut album, In the Mountain in the Cloud, in late 2011. Produced by John Hill and mixed by Andy Wallace, it was released in July of 2012. Around that time, Sleep Forever, a 13-minute short directed by Michael Ragen and shot entirely in Gourley's hometown, premiered on the Independent Film Channel. It would be the last recording for members Sechrist and Neighbors, who were replaced by drummer Kane Ritchotte and keyboardist Kyle O'Quin. Portugal. The Man enlisted Danger Mouse (Brian Burton) as producer for 2013's Evil Friends, which was released in June of 2013. They returned to the studio in 2014 with the Beastie Boys' Mike D for their eighth studio album. The recordings were eventually scrapped, however, and the band emerged in 2017 with fresh material via the self-produced Woodstock. Led by the single "Feel It Still," it was named in honor of the 1969 festival and their attempt to "say something that mattered" in a context of sociopolitical unrest. - iTunes

Well, 'Rewrite The Stars' is the best thing that I have heard from 'The Greatest Showman' so far. I nearly went to see it last night with my friends but decided against going in the end after getting home from Uni so late and having quite a lot of work to do. Croyden, South London-based R&B singer Rachel Keen (aka RAYE) started her career at the age of ten, guided by her father and her guitar teacher. Streatham, South London-born grime artist Dave (aka Santan Dave) may only have been 16 when he entered the grime spotlight, but his conscious lyrical style made him sound well beyond his years. Growing up, Dave was inspired to pursue art in some form. Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981) is an American singer-songwriter, actor and record producer. Born and raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. I hope it grows more on me. I don't find it as bad as I did at first, but the production I just find dull as hell. I'd love a punchy, melodic remix (120-130 BPM). I like the vocals but also don't think they go together. If I'm still saying this in a week's time I'll shut up forever about it

During the '90s, Marc Kinchen, known commonly as MK, was one of the most idiosyncratic house producers, tempering his feel for soulful New York-styled garage with the energy of hard techno, learned from time spent working in Detroit at Kevin Saunderson's KMS Studios, while he added his uniquely dubby touch. After he attained significant success in the clubs, he moved toward the mainstream, worked closely with the likes of Will Smith and Pitbull, and eventually returned to the clubs as a sought-after producer, remixer, and DJ within the realm of commercial house music.

Kinchen's first production credit was "First Bass," as part of the group Separate Minds with Terrence Parker. The track was released on the 1989 KMS compilation Techno-1. Kinchen also recorded several singles as MK before he moved to Brooklyn in 1991, formed his own Area 10 Records, and released the single "Burning." The track became a moderate club hit, and led to remixing for the Shamen, Tom Tom Club, the B-52's, D-Influence, and, most notably, the Nightcrawlers, whose "Push the Feeling On" was transformed by his "dub of doom." Soon, Kinchen was one of the hottest figures in house music, and he signed to Charisma for an album deal. Kinchen's full-length debut was 1993's Surrender, credited to MK Featuring Alana (aka Alana Simon) and featuring the singles "Always" and "Love Changes," which became deep house club hits worldwide. Kinchen continued to remix for a motley assortment of artists -- Pet Shop Boys, Opus III, Ethyl Meatplow, Jodeci, and Brandy among them -- and recorded both as himself and 4th Measure Men.

After a lengthy retreat from house music that began in 1996 and entailed a close association with Will Smith, Kinchen easily resumed activity as a producer and remixer of club music, and as a DJ. During the early 2010s, he racked up dozens of remix credits for high-profile pop artists, including Lana Del Rey, Sky Ferreira, and Sam Smith. However, it was his remix of an underground track -- "Look Right Through," by Morgan Geist and Damon Scott's Storm Queen -- that was most successful, as it reached number one on the U.K. pop chart. Around the same time, there was renewed interest in Kinchen's early work, compiled by the Defected label's ITH division as part of its House Masters series. In 2015, Kinchen released "Bring Me to Life" (featuring singer Milly Pye) as the first single from an album he was preparing. Among the remixes was one carried out by Dantiez Saunderson -- the son of Kevin Saunderson. A second single appeared in 2016. Biography

NF is the stage name of rapper and composer Nate Feuerstein from Gladwin, Michigan. Feuerstein endured a hardship-filled childhood in which his parents divorced, his mother's boyfriend physically abused him, and his mother eventually killed herself. Music was his escape, and he began recording songs on a karaoke machine, with instrumentals on one microphone and his raps in the other. Placing second in a nationwide Fine Arts Festival rap competition in 2008, and first in Michigan the following year, he independently released a debut album, Moments, in 2010. The album attracted the attention of Xist Music, which signed him to a recording deal in 2012, by which time Feuerstein had taken on the stage name NF. The label announced the release of an EP that same year, but it never appeared, and NF and Xist parted ways. NF spent the next two years looking for a label and working with local producer Tommee Profitt in his studio; they came up with the song "Wake Up," which convinced Capitol Christian Music Group to sign him. CMG released a six-song (including a Manny Marroquin remix of "Wake Up") self-titled EP late in the summer of 2014. His debut album, Mansion, was released in early 2015 and reached number 62 on the Billboard 200 while topping the Christian Albums chart. The aptly titled Therapy Session followed in 2016 and also topped the Christian Albums chart with its raw emotions and honest lyrics.
