Not expecting much as their last one with 2 artists (I can't even remember who they were or what it was called) wasn't amazing but In Your Arms was pretty good despite the flop. I reckon they will remain a one hit wonder tbh.

This does sound like a case of if, rather than when, this song becomes big. My guess would be around February/March time.

House laced with reggae/tropical/afrobeat influence does seem the in-thing right now, as evidenced with Justin Bieber's success and this could be the 2016 equivalent of Firestone or something.

Loving the Krept & Konan reference in the first line! laugh.gif

I like it! It's about time Matoma hit the big time but if it doesn't get a commercial push it could easily come and go sad.gif

updated the first post with all the essentials bits and pieces.

a good launch album/ep with bits of old mixed with bits of new. tropical house has a rep of being somewhat derivite but matoma is really creative and open mind. it's a very elective ep and very consistent.

it's nice to have some tropical house with ambition and creativity, poor kygo signing to syco and peaking creativity-wise before he's even got an album out :')

Agreed!

Absolutely love the title of it and I'm a little saddened it probably won't be his album name laugh.gif I'll hopefully listen to this at some point tomorrow!

I love him so much. He actually has melodies to his songs! That Astrid feature is gorgeous!

with the names involved this should be the holy grail of tropical house but it's just kind of FLAT. so disappointed.
