Welcome to the ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information.

If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder:

SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios:

100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc)
600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc)

ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are HALVED, and count at the following ratios:

200 premium streams = 1 sale
1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale

Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR.

The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. The explanations are posted in each update to assist you.

drama.gif laugh.gif at Jax and Sam on SCR still. Hopefully Harry doesn't increase in the next two weeks. Could do with it moving lower down now.

The list of songs on no decline is still longer than those with any decline out of those which aren't on ACR yet. I'm still surprised there's been no apparent rule change like there has been in July of previous years. Especially if songs like CWLCD and 21 Reasons peaking after months in the Top 20 becomes more of a norm, there's even more need to prevent songs slowly on their way down like WDYG being serial ACR dodgers at the same time.

I have a feeling you won’t be listening for a while then. Maybe you should get a new hobby, it can’t be healthy stressing out this much about the charts laugh.gif

This is not a new thing, it's been this way for many many years now. And it'll only get slower in the future.

I really hope that the majority of songs on dcl-1 decrease again for the next 2 weeks so we can have a big acr clear out, it is defo time for harry, lizzo, future etc to go

i'd like Harry to break some sort of record for most weeks in the top 3 but it's a long way off beating 'I Believe' by Frankie Laine which managed 26 weeks in the top 3 in 1953.

That particular record of consecutive weeks in the Top 3 is one I can't envisage ever being broken. However even if Harry goes to ACR at the earliest opportunity, I think he'll take joint second place with The Beatles - She Loves You on 18 weeks.

In terms of total weeks in the Top 3, Last Christmas is on 20 weeks and could easily overtake the 26 of I Believe within the next 18 months, provided there are no rule changes.

I don't have a full update for last week's chart but the mids have provided a lot of information, we could be in for a BIG clearout over the next 2 weeks.

Obviously, not all of these will actually go to ACR (and I'd expect a chunk of the DCL-1 tracks in particular to swerve). As for the DCL-2 ones, Lizzo, Harry [Sushi], Metallica, Calvin and Tion Wayne are basically certain, As It Was and Gaga are likely, Vegas and WAIT FOR U could go either way and I Like You (A Happier Song) is almost sure to swerve.

DCL-2
Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa & Young Thug - Potion
Chase & Status - Mixed Emotions
Dermot Kennedy - Something to Someone
Doja Cat - Vegas
Future feat. Drake & Tems - WAIT FOR U
Harry Styles - As It Was
Harry Styles - Music for a Sushi Restaurant
Lady Gaga - Hold My Hand
Lizzo - About Damn Time
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Post Malone feat. Doja Cat - I Like You (A Happier Song)
Tion Wayne & La Roux - IFTK

DCL-1
Becky Hill & David Guetta - Remember
Benson Boone - In the Stars
Bru-C - No Excuses
Burna Boy - Last Last
Cian Ducrot - All for You
D-Block Europe & Ghost Killer Track - Elegant & Gang
David Guetta, Becky Hill & Ella Henderson - Crazy What Love Can Do
Declan McKenna - Brazil
Diplo & Miguel - Don't Forget My Love
George Ezra - Green Green Grass
Harry Styles - Late Night Talking
James Hype & Miggy Dela Rosa - Ferrari
Jax Jones & MNEK - Where Did You Go?
Joji - Glimpse of Us
Latto & Mariah Carey feat. DJ Khaled - Big Energy
LF SYSTEM - Afraid to Feel
Nathan Dawe feat. Ella Henderson - 21 Reasons
Nicky Youre & dazy - Sunroof
OneRepublic - I Ain't Worried
Sam Fender - Seventeen Going Under
Sigala & Talia Mar - Stay the Night
Tom Grennan - Remind Me
Tom Santa - Rainfall (Praise You)

In fact, the only song older than 6 weeks (and therefore on "SCR") is Dandelions. Everything else in the midweek top 100 is in the above 2 lists, already on ACR, or less than 6 weeks old.
