BJSC 85 Debut: Brechtoria Brechtoria, with its capital city of Artaudina has finally decided to join the BJSC. Having been a member since the inception of the contest, but having never entered - our leader Stanis Lavski, finally felt that it was time for us to join the contest. We hope you enjoy our debut entrant. TEASER We walk around all we hear is the sound of our lonely heartbeats.

Oh my this is really good Similar to mine actually, a bit of upbeat indie pop (if you don't mind me spilling ) I shall more than likely be giving this a lot of love in the proper competition and I think it could do very well!

We qualified in our debut tournament
Thank you everyone for your support. It was great to see mdh qualify for the first time as well, and some absolute gems in my semi that I'm pleased are through. We are performing LAST in the final - not sure if that's a good thing for BJSC, it certainly isn't for ESC. So fingers crossed we leave a lasting impression to change the minds of those who feel they have already decided. I will update this post soon with full details soon. BJSC 85 Update
So, we finished in a very respectable 29th place in the final - with 21 voters from the 56 available. Our leader Stanis Lavski is very happy with our debut performance and has allowed us to return for BJSC 86!!! A massive thanks for all the voters: Altyr Muunilinst - 18 Taahino - 15 Kylipnips - 11 Tartford - 11 Pupok - 10 Traingledonia - 10 D'yer'maker - 9 Mulgracia - 9 Ultraviolenceland - 9 Harmonica - 7 Medhelnia - 7 Ramrynia - 5 Hushkanukia - 4 Singerpurear - 4 Seyetana - 3 Botanikka - 2 Flynndonia - 2 Oslol - 2 Terra Avium - 2 Cumulonimibia - 1 The Actual Republic of Bellamia - 1 We were especially thrilled to achieved an 18 in our first contest and reach our target of a qualifier, and then a top 30 placing. Next time we are definitely going 'dance' - but we are struggling between two songs. Any help, especially from our lovely supporters, would be greatly appreciated! Our points went to: 18 points - Unovia // Annalisa - Se Avessi Un Cuore 15 points - Beaverdonia // Bang La Decks - Aide 13 points - Persephonia // Color Guard - In Your Bones 12 points - Medhelnia // Parade of Lights - Feeling Electric 11 points - FARC // Jones - Hoops 10 points - Federal Republic of Ashton // Madison Beer (ft. Jack & Jack) - All For Love 9 points - #00274E // Infinity Ink (ft. Yasmin) - How Do I Love You 8 points - N DNTN // Plaitum - Jagwa 7 points - Jadakissina // OVERWERK - Toccata 6 points - Summercia // Invader Girl - Stuck On Me 5 points - The Actual Republic Of Bellamia // Jesper Jenset - High 4 points - Daehun // Luna - Free Somebody 3 points - Kylienips // Juventa (ft. I tend to find that polarising instrumentals often do well, as long as the people who like it *really* like it (i.e. Aide and Free Tibet, two winners from this year (although technically they're not instrumentals, there's only a bit of vocals in them))
I say this without having any idea of what you are going to send of course. |

Thanks for the advice DanG - appreciate it!
I'm not sure about the constant points, going for a VERY different choice this time! |
