We have lost a few players from our squad and haven't really brought in anyone new. Not overly optimistic at the moment, though that might change once we get some players in the door. When that happens, hope we can continue to fight at the right end of the table.

Coventry will win the league me thinks.
Luton Town for me - why are Forest Green so low priced?
I am wondering why Forest Green and Lincoln are above Carlisle United in this. Bit complicated for me those odds.
Anyone going to any games in this league? I am hoping to get to Cambridge on the 12th to see Carlisle play.
As I know someone from another site who is quite a big fan of Notts County, with that being his favorite team, I'm going to go with them to win the league for this season.....of course, since I'm across the pond, I won't be making it to get any of their fixtures...
It does seem strange that Forest Green are high up in the odds. I would see them as a 50/1 at least.
For Stevenage on match-day is £21.00 (Seating).
That's really expensive!
That's really expensive!
Tenner for Irish league at the gate!
Disappointing start for Carlisle, hopefully better next week.
I just hope we (Cheltenham) can stay up!
8-2 for Luton Town against Yeovil.
A loss and two wins so far in the league, I am hopeful we can do a Plymouth and go up this season after last season's disappointment.
Looking likely that Paul Tisdale will get a new contract for Exeter City after a fine start to the season.
Not so great start of the season for Forest Green in their first season in the Football League. Hoping that can be improved.
Chesterfield and Port Vale both sacked their managers following Saturday's matches.
Chesterfield are due to appoint a new manager on Friday, Branston has left the club.

Jack Lester has been appointed as the new manager of Chesterfield. This has just been confirmed.
Port Vale have appointed Neil Aspin, a former player as their next manager.

Another managerial update, Rossi Eames has gone at Barnet and is replaced by Mark McGhee (a blast from the past there).
Once in the Premier League at the start of the millennium to the lowest Saturday league crowd in Coventry for 59 years on Saturday. Just 6381.
Mark McGhee has now moved upstairs and Graham Westley is now in charge of first team affairs at Barnet.

Back on track for Luton Town as they beat Exeter City 1-0 yesterday and go eight points clear.
Since our last update in here on the managerial merry go round, Shaun Derry and Cambridge United have parted by mutual consent.
Edit: - Grimsby Town and Russell Slade have also parted company.
Hope Stanley win the league!!
Rather surprisingly, Steve Evans and Paul Rayner have left Mansfield Town.

And now: Dave Flitcroft is leaving Swindon Town for Mansfield apparently. The management merry go-around never fails to disappoint us.
It certainly keeps us entertained and awake.
Confirmed news from Mansfield.

Only four games happening in League Two tomorrow again all games called off due to the snow.
Carlisle game is going ahead according to the BBC along with Cambridge..
Swindon Town have appointed Phil Brown as their manager until the end of the season.
Hope Accrington the poorest team in the division get an unlikely promotion this year!!
Swindon have also signed free agent Ryan McGivern and appointed Brian Horton as assistant boss to Phil Brown.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43417267
Darren Sarll has been sacked as Stevenage manager.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43449319
Graham Westley has been sacked at Barnet and Martin Allen has been named as his successor. It is Allen's fifth spell as Barnet manager. Mark McGhee has also left the club.

That would be great if Accrington Stanley did win the league.
Dino Maamria, formerly of Nuneaton, has been appointed as the new Stevenage manager. He had three spells as a player at the club.
Shame to see scenes of fighting in the Crewe v Port Vale match and not from the players.
What happened here?
Looks like poor stewarding!
With two games in hand, looking likely that Accrington Stanley will be promoted to League One.
And it has happened, Accrington Stanley have been promoted to League One for the first time in their history.
They could be playing away at Sunderland next season!!
When's the last time Luton played at this level? I vaguely remember them being in the top flight!
Jack Lester has left Chesterfield.
Keith Curle has announced he will leave Carlisle in the summer. We have been waiting for news on this for some months now with his contract expiring this summer.
The two games all level-pegging as we go into the second leg with it being goalless between Exeter and Lincoln City and 1-1 between Notts County and Coventry City.
And back up to League One go Coventry City.
Gah, not again! That’s the second year in a row Exeter have lost out on the playoffs
And it looks like Tisdale might be finally moving on, I’m not sure what that’d do to the club’s consistency.
