She may have changed her sound, not to mention her hair, since then, but she's been fairly consistent on the banger front. Seven years ago this week, Pink was celebrating her final week at Number 1 with her third chart-topper So What. Yep, our Pink, or Alecia as she's known on a Sunday or in front of guests, knocked Kings Of Leon's Sex On Fire off its perch to claim the throne. She stayed there for three weeks before Girls Aloud's altogether different The Promise came a-knocking and a nudging. To mark this most joyful of chart occasions, and the release of her retrospective Pink – The Albums… So Far!!!, we look back at Pink's big ones. She's had 27 UK Top 40s, including 18 Top 10s and three Number 1s, but when it comes to shifting your actual copies, what's her top song? The Top 3 It's perhaps fitting that the Number 1 song on Pink's countdown never actually made it to the top of the Official Singles Chart – although it had a good go. Just Give Me A Reason, which featured fun lead singer Nate Ruess, spent 11 weeks inside the Top 10, two of which were at Number 2. It was held off, however, in the first week by a surprise return to the charts by TV presenters Ant & Dec. After performing their 1994 classic Let's Get Ready To Rhumble on their Saturday Night Takeaway show, the track shot to Number 1, finishing just 5,000 copies ahead of poor Pink and Nate. It didn't make it to Number 1, but it has shifted almost 830,000 copies to make it Pink's top seller. So What, Number 1 today in 2008, is Pink's best selling chart-topper. Over 607,000 of you have bought what turned out to be Pink's most recent Number 1. Next up is another chart-topper, but this time she wasn't alone. Pink joined forces with Mya, Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliott for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. Lady Marmalade has been a hit three times in the UK, and has reached the top spot twice! First a Number 17 hit for LaBelle in 1975, the track was covered by UK girlgroup All Saints, who whacked it into a double-A side (ask your mum) with a cover of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Under The Bridge and took it to Number 1 in 1998! Pink's version has sold 574,000 copies. Other notable entries Raise Your Glass, which led Pink's 2010 greatest hits collection, is her biggest selling non-Top 10. It's sold 425,000 copies despite reaching only Number 13 – thanks in part, no doubt, to the song featuring on the second series of Glee in 2011. Pink's first solo Number 1 from 2002, Just Like A Pill, lands at number 8 with sales of over 360,000, while her most recent single True Love, which featured Lily Allen, is already her 15th top seller. Pink's first ever single There You Go lands a place behind it at Number 16.
