 I am opening myself to a world of being thought uncool for admitting this but to hell with it: 'Escape to the Chateau' is my favourite show on the box atm. I actually have my mum and sister to thank for getting me into it as they were fans first and then I became so by osmosis as you might say. It's such a lovely show though, and I love Dick and Angel, they're both really creative and they've got such good chemistry and banter between them both. Lovely family they have as well. And if that's not enough Tracy Ann Obermann narrates. It's the perfect combo to be honest. All the first five series are on All4 and are being repeated on More4 but the sixth series is due to start on Channel 4 in the next couple of months. I can't wait! This is actually a really good show!! It's like that perfect cosy viewing you need after a long day and Dick & Angel are really entertaining tbf.

I loved the episode I was watching the other night where they were making plans to build a 'glamping' site on one side of the chateau, they're measuring out and Angel says to Dick 'Oh if we can just move those bits over there' and he goes 'They're not bits darling, they're trees'

Dick and Angel were on This Morning last week talking about their Q&A tour next year - they confirmed Series 6 starts next month!

Episode 1 was on last night - on All4 now if you missed it. Lovely to see their family k!tchen get a little makeover, and also sweet to see their daughter Dorothy having her birthday party in the Orangerie in the Chateau grounds.
