Did anyone watch One Child on BBC Two yesterday evening? It was the first part of a three-part drama series about a girl who was abandoned due to the desire for a boy in the times of China's One Child Policy, however when her brother - that she never knew about - gets arrested for a crime he didn't commit, her birth mother calls her daughter for help.

After the initial bacgkround story in the first 5 minutes, once it got going after that I was immediately gripped and a couple of the scenes were so emotional - I can't wait for the next part next week and I really recommend you check it out on iPlayer here!
