So here it is, I was going to wait til Sunday, but no more votes were coming in and I'm bored at the mo, this year's chart has incorporated 52 weeks, in this time they have been 154 top 10 hits which have been rated by 1702 votes (a 24% increase from last year). These are their overall standings.

Obviously, the longer a song has spent in the OCC top ten, the more votes it gets to be higher on either end of the spectrum, this countdown will hopefully be over in January/February, and will run seperately from the main chart which will be posted as normal, Sunday after the OCC top ten is announced.

Which song do you think will be the least popular in the charts, can One Direction avoid the hat trick, here's the results from 2009 to 2013

2009: Pitbull - I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)
2010: Justin Bieber ft. Ludactris - Baby
2011: Chris Brown - Yeah 3X
2012: One Direction - Little Things
2013: One Direction - Story Of My Life

Will be announcing the results in a short while.

1D were certainly not deserving of the least popular Top 10 hit in 2013. 'Story of My Life' was definitely an improvement for them.

I can see why the rest were placed last, although I do have soft spots for Pitbull's and Chris Brown's!

The thing with this chart is that the nature of compilation often means that the bottom track being one that is slightly disliked but stuck around for absolutely ages... so something like All Of Me maybe?

(Although having reviewed the list, please let it be the monstrosity that is 'Wiggle'. Urgh)

154. JOHN LEGEND - ALL OF ME (-694 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 19
OCC PEAK: 2 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 8
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 31
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 101
POSITIVE VOTES: 255
NEGATIVE VOTES: 421
RUN: 6-6-5-5-5-6-7-8-6-8-9-10-9-10-8-8-9-9-X-10
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -36.5263

Breaking the streak of One Direction "bottom placers" is John Legend's mega-hit "All Of Me", the song did as well as a male piano ballad that sticks around for 19 weeks can be expected to do. I, however love this song despite the effect of overplay, it's probably my favourite song to have finished last in a Reshuffle YE Chart. The song almost managed to avoid this fate, but stupidly got X Factor promotion a place in OCC Top Ten and the further kick it needed to land at the bottom.

I got quite bored of this before overplay tbh! Was a nice enough song to begin with but not one I'd have wanted to stick around so long.

I'm quite surprised it isn't Happy that's last, I distinctly remember that suffering over -100 points week after week! All Of Me obviously doesn't deserve to finish last but it really did outstay its welcome in the top 10.

153. PHARRELL WILLIAMS - HAPPY (-636 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 17 (in 2014)
OCC PEAK: 1 (2wks) [in 2014]
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 7
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 20
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 117
POSITIVE VOTES: 223
NEGATIVE VOTES: 346
RUN: 5-3-2-6-7-7-8-9-8-9-7-9-8-9-10-10-9
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -37.4118

Just dodging the bullet of being on the bottom, "Happy" finishes at 153rd, a big drop from the 38th it finished in 2013, probably due to overplay (a recurring theme in the bottom 10). In contrast to "All Of Me", I really dislike this song and find it irritating more than anything else, although I know it has its fans.

Happy still slaying All of Me cool.gif

I don't think either of them deserve to be bottom, but All of Me and though I still love it, Happy did really spend too long in the top 10 so not entirely unexpected that they're this low, I'd imagine Stay With Me, Trumpets & Thinking Out Loud will suffer a similar fate (hopefully Wiggle will be low down too, even though it didn't spend very long in the top 10 thankfully)

I don't think I've ever been fed-up with 'Happy'! Obviously overplay has meant I'm not as likely to listen through choice but not to the point where I've not wanted to hear it.

I disagree about 'Stay With Me' - it didn't seem to spend that long in the Top 10, it was only when it refused to stay clear of the Top 20 when people really got bored with it.

Well at least 'Happy' isn't last laugh.gif Not surprised at those two being the bottom 2, as Dandy* said pretty much anything with a very long top 10 run that isn't a massive favourite of the site (like 'Get Lucky' and 'Rather Be', though it feels odd to refer to the former as a big favourite now as I seem to see quite a lot of negativity around it now!) is going to end up racking up a large negative score. 'All Of Me' is FAR from the worst hit of the year but it was never any more than decent and has long gone past being tedious to listen to.

All Of Me is yes, by some distance as "Happy" had 60 positive points from 2013.

152. MAGIC! - RUDE (-463 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 10
OCC PEAK: 1 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 9
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 15
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 72
POSITIVE VOTES: 91
NEGATIVE VOTES: 211
RUN: 7-8-8-10-9-9-8-8-9-10
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -46.3

A big leap in terms of points, but not necessarily quality as Magic ends up in the bottom three. When I first heard this song I liked it and was happy that reggae was in some fashion making an appearance on the OCC chart, but then I watched the video and found the lead singer so unlikeable that I could no longer indulge the song. Just something about his smug face, sorry 'bout the rudeness.

151. WILL.I.AM FT. CODY WISE - IT'S MY BIRTHDAY (-425 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 5
OCC PEAK: 1 (1wk)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 57
POSITIVE VOTES: 35
NEGATIVE VOTES: 126
RUN: 10-10-10-9-10
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -85

From one unlikeable artist to another, and that's not personal shade, with "It's My Birthday", Will.i.am has now had more songs in the bottom 10 than any other artist with 5 (OMG , Hall Of Fame, Bang Bang , #ThatPOWER, It's My Birthday), just beating out Chris Brown and One Direction with four apiece. In all fairness, I don't mind the song, it's hardly a masterpiece but I doubt that was the intention just something fun to listen to on a night out.

150. JASON DERULO FT. SNOOP DOGG - WIGGLE (-373 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 4
OCC PEAK: 8 (3wks)
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 55
POSITIVE VOTES: 22
NEGATIVE VOTES: 109
RUN: 10-10-10-10
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -93.25

The first song on the list to have spent its entire run at #10, it's also the first ode to larger posteriors which seemed to be en vogue in 2014. The song in is terrible and base. Also, I didn't mind the saxophone hook.

More like a recorder hook laugh.gif

Wonder what song has the worst average score? Surely it's Wiggle (unless it's a one-weeker like Loyal).
