BEN HAENOW - SOMETHING I NEED (-161 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 2 OCC PEAK: 1 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 3 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 14 POSITIVE VOTES: 11 NEGATIVE VOTES: 52 RUN: 10-10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -80.5 Although Band Aid was the only song about Xmas to appear, this was the Christmas #1. Shocking no-one the X Factor succeeded in getting the accolade yet again. I have to confess this would only be the second season (after the one Leon Jackson won) that I didn't watch as it looked boring to me to begin with, the song itself is OK and I'm not sure why it was bottom both weeks. As for Ben himself he seems to have a decent yet unremarkable voice, but time will be seen if he can avoid fading away like oh so many winners do. |

Sam still has "I'm Not The Only One" & "Like I Can" left to duke it out. |

YG - DON'T TELL 'EM (-145 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 5 OCC PEAK: 5 (2wks) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 8 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 18 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 34 POSITIVE VOTES: 62 NEGATIVE VOTES: 102 RUN: 10-7-9-9-4 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -29 Now one of my least favourite songs of the year there's not one bit of this song I like not the production, vocals or lyrics, and YG's rap is awful. It did seem to be having a turn around on the Reshuffle chart getting as high as #4 on its last week. |

SEAN PAUL - DANGEROUS LOVE (-144 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 3 OCC PEAK: 3 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 9 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 20 POSITIVE VOTES: 35 NEGATIVE VOTES: 65 RUN: 10-8-9 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -48 The first of Fuse ODG three songs to appear now is "Dangerous Love", I've quite enjoyed Fuse ODG's output this year, maybe not something I'd necessarily buy, but I enjoy that it brings something different and fun to the UK chart. |
