Just skimming through the usual blogs and Buzzjack threads and it's come to my attention we have a CRAPTON of new music out Friday!
According to JosepVinaixa the new MO single is expected this Friday Major Lazer & Showtek - Believer MO - Drum The Chainsmokers ft Phoebe Ryan - All We Know DNCE - Body Moves David Guetta - Would I Lie To You? Galantis ft Hook n Sling - Love On Me Busted - On What You're On Robbie Williams - TBC So how do you all think all these tracks will do in the charts? Got to be a couple in with a shot at top 40 - some streaming big-hitters releasing. |

This is a HUGE week for albums for me personally. Three of my favourite artists releasing on Friday so i'll be swamped with things to listen to <3 Banks, Kid Cudi and Solange coming *.*

tbh feeling similar levels of hype ^^^
We have a couple of decent weeks on the trot and then BANG - new Galantis, Chainsmokers, Major Lazer, David Guetta and MO all in the same week. Whatttt. |

I hope Solange goes Top 40 with her album this coming week. With the collapse of album sales and the fact she may have a bigger profile after elevator-gate might mean she'll be able to sneak into it. Wishful thinking I know.

I'd say The Chainsmokers are most certain to go top 10 possibly. Guetta probably top 25 & Galantis/ Major Lazer top 40. Robbie ' s a hard one with streaming and hype. MO & DNCE will be top 75 & I'd imagine they will both eventually climb into the top 40 in coming weeks!

Major Lazer & Showtek - Believer Can't see this troubling the top 40 unless it gets a lot of instant support, I see it getting off to a similar start to Light It Up.
MO - Drum iTunes has this out for 7th October? Unless that's just a placeholder date. The Chainsmokers ft Phoebe Ryan - All We Know Really not sure what to expect for this, Closer was helped by the fact Halsey has a following at least. Will this even get a proper push? They had that Inside Out song between Roses and DLMD I believe *correct me if I'm wrong* DNCE - Body Moves Maybe top 50? David Guetta - Would I Lie To You? Guetta doesn't have a strong track record of instant OA/OS impressions so I wouldn't expect this too high. Galantis ft Hook n Sling - Love On Me Maybe top 40? No Money managed it after all. Busted - On What You're On Nowhere near the top 40 Robbie Williams - TBC Depends on hype and support but I can't see it going top 40 So maybe two in The Chainsmokers and Galantis, with DNCE as a potential too? Not sure, would like more phresh songs to enter of course. |

Did you hear all these songs? Where? Some of them even not released and you judge performance

^ it's called predicting
Nah, Inside Out was out far after Don't Let Me Down and not even pushed as a single, where as this is getting a full release. Oh OK, still, it wasn't pushed, and there's no indicator this will be any different just yet (probably will be pushed but idk how much of an *instant* impression it will make, Closer took ages to be added to playlists etc too) |

Major Lazer & Showtek - Believer idk
MO - Drum probably another top 40 eventually The Chainsmokers ft Phoebe Ryan - All We Know don't know if this is actually a single, but will likely chart well off momentum alone DNCE - Body Moves probably another top 40 eventually David Guetta - Would I Lie To You? sounds like a very pointless release but Guetta's name guarantees it'll be a hit Galantis ft Hook n Sling - Love On Me top 40 debut and another top 5/10 hit peak-wise Busted - On What You're On will likely do a lot better than Coming Home if it's a proper single Robbie Williams - TBC no idea |
