Sunday Chart Predictions
Predicting the 28/06 to 04/07 chart It's a chart battle this week between Tinie Tempah and Jess Glynne's collaboration 'Not Letting Go' - lead single to Tinie's third album and will appear on the deluxe of Jess' I Cry When I Laugh - and Lost Frequencies' 'Are You With Me'. Heading for the Top 10 too is Flo Rida and Robin Thicke's 'I Don't Like It, I Love It' whist James Bay' 'Let It Go', Duke Dumont's 'The Giver (Reprise)' and Stereo Kicks' 'Love Me So' may enter the Top 40. Note that Alesha Dixon's 'The Way We Are' will not be charting due to Alesha It's Glastonbury week so expect it to have a big effect on this week's chart: Florence + the Machine are likely to regain the #1 spot; James Bay, George Ezra and Hozier are possible Top 10 re-entries; and Alabama Shakes, Paloma Faith and Alt-J are among possible Top 40 re-entries. Potential Top 10 entries this week include Kacey Musgraves' Pageant Material and Everything Everything's Get to Heaven whilst Craig Ogden's Craig Ogden & Friends, Hilary Duff's Breathe In. Breathe Out., Leon Bridges' Coming Home, Mika's No Place In Heaven, The Jam's About the Young Idea: The Very Best of The Jam, The Orb's Moonbuilding 2703 AD and Wolf Alice's My Love is Cool. ======================================================== Please note new changes to the Sunday Chart Predictions thread topic: Tuesday/Thursday - There will be no mids from MW for Tuesday and Thursday, however they may come from other sources - this is not always guaranteed. You can still post your own predictions for the week to generate chat to the topic. Wednesday - Radio 1 Top 40 Update Chart from 3:30pm to 4pm. Links to the Top 100 Update on the OCC site will be posted with sales from the OCC or other sources. Friday - Final Mid update from MW from 11am onwards. Sales info is a separate issue will be available from 2pm onwards if available. To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action please refer to the iTunes thread topic. |

The new albums are going to get pushed down quite a bit after Friday. This time next year, when Glastonbury is at the weekend, the newer albums might end up higher as the effect will probably wear off.

I imagine Tinie will be #1 with a huge lead considering his iTunes progress, and he probably sold more pre-orders than Lost Frequencies too. Even now Lost Frequencies is only 0.7385 on Tinie on kworb combining both versions.
May as well say well done to Tinie now I guess, he's definitely got the official #1. |

Wow at Wolf Alice! Great start for Everything Everything too, but I'm confident Florence + the Machine will be #1 before the week is out.
