    My Review
Now That’s What I Call Music! 113 otherwise known as Now 113 was the third and final instalment of 2022 featuring 48 tracks with 4 UK #1 singles. This volume was the first in the series to include music by Burna Boy (as a lead artist) FLO and Bru-C.

Despite 4 UK #1 singles included, there was one notable omission and that was Taylor Swift's UK #1 single Anti-Hero. There was also no room for Top 10 hits from Harry Styles, Rihanna, Beyoncι and Nicki Minaj. Other overlooked artists included Arctic Monkeys, DJ Khaled, southstar and SZA amongst others.

As at the time of this review, it is the only volume in the series to include music by Kim Petras, Eliza Rose, Interplanetary Criminal, Steve Lacy, Fireboy DML, Rosa Linn, Oxlade, Benzz and Netsky.

Artwork Rating: 8/10 Extremely Good
I often find that the darker themed covers are a lot more striking than the rest, and when it is the Now logo against a night time theme, it just works very well indeed. This theme of fireworks set over a cathedral town looks great, and the clever "moonpig" feature too. All that lets it down as with other recent artwork is the overuse of the text at the bottom to list the main artists.

Disc 1 Favourite: Tiλsto & Charli XCX – Hot In It
Of the recent pop singles that DJ Tiλsto put out at this time, this was the one that caught my attention the most, and despite its short length, it is still a great inclusion and should most definitely have been a UK Top 10 hit for both artists.

Disc 2 Favourite: Luude & Mattafix – Big City Life
Even though it is a remake of a previous single, this far superior remix by Luude propelled it to be one of my favourite songs of 2022, it was clear at this point that Luude was an artist to watch out for as further songs were given the drum and bass treatment to follow.

Disc 3 Tracklist:
(A concept of what a third disc might look like if other hits from the era were used)

1. Taylor Swift – Anti-Hero 3:21 {1}
2. Harry Styles – Late Night Talking 2:58 {2}
3. Beyoncι – CUFF IT 3:45 {5}
4. Nicki Minaj – Super Freaky Girl 2:51 {5}
5. Blackpink – Pink Venom 3:07 {22}
6. Chris Brown – Under The Influence 3:05 {7}
7. d4vd – Romantic Homicide 2:13 {22}
8. Arctic Monkeys – There'd Better Be A Mirrorball 4:26 {25}
9. Rihanna – Lift Me Up 3:17 {3}
10. DJ Khaled feat. Drake & Lil Baby – STAYING ALIVE 2:58 {21}
11. Hstikkytokky & J Fado – Hold This 2:26 {31}
12. Tion Wayne feat. Aitch – Let's Go 2:39 {30}
13. Central Cee – One Up 2:40 {17}
14. SZA – Shirt 3:02 {17}
15. Jax – Victoria's Secret 2:56 {33}
16. blink-182 – EDGING 2:32 {31}
17. Paramore – This Is Why 3:27 {61}
18. Beach Weather – Sex, Drugs, Etc. 3:17 {46}
19. Nicky Youre & Dazy – Sunroof 2:43 {29}
20. southstar – Miss You 3:26 {23}
21. Fred again.. & Swedish House Mafia feat. Future – Turn On The Lights again.. 4:28 {27}
22. Schak feat. Kim English – Moving All Aound (Jumpin') 3:09 {46}
23. Alok, Ella Eyre, Kenny Dope feat. Never Dull – Deep Down 2:46 {62}
24. Alesso feat. Zara Larsson – Words 2:23 {36}
25. Nathan Dawe & Talia Mar – Sweet Lies 2:02 {61}
26. Mabel – Crying On The Dancefloor 3:24 {DNC}
----------
Total time: 1:19:21

Overall Rating: 7/10 Very Good
I was pleased with how this volume turned out, and there was much to admire about it I felt, the quality was higher than that of the previous volume, and despite some clear omissions, it did not take away from the quality of this autumn compilation. It was a first time to see four credits for a single artist on a Now compilation, with Ed Sheeran included as solo, and with features on hits by Fireboy DML, Aitch and Burna Boy.

My Best 5 (as of February 2024)
1. Luude & Mattafix – Big City Life
2. Tiλsto & Charli XCX – Hot In It
3. David Guetta & Bebe Rexha – I'm Good (Blue)
4. Tom Grennan – All These Nights
5. Lizzo – 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)

My Worst 5 (as of February 2024)
1. Benzz – Je M'appelle
2. Anne-Marie x Aitch – Psycho
3. P!NK – Irrelevant
4. Stormzy – Hide & Seek
5. Cian Ducrot & Ella Henderson – All For You

Disc 1 fave: The 1975 - I'm in Love With You

Disc 2 fave: Luude & Mattafix - Big City Life

Disc 2 is looking quite weak there though!

Good to know, but all these reviews have only credited songs that charted inside the Top 75 as per Polydex data.

I wasn't aware of that, fair enough!
