Chart Commentary

"Hello everybody, welcome to the Top 40 Countdown by awardinary.

As is my custom, I will start bu thanking the following 7 people who took the time both to view and comment on my personal chart last week: JSG, uhsting, toffochews, Sergej, Cow Cow, dan:G and SSP. Responses to your comments are in the below post.

Yet again it is Joel Corry & Jax Jones who remain at #1 with former #1 by Ed Sheeran at #2. But there is an unknown at #3 from the upcoming 138th edition of the BuzzJack Song Contest which will be identified in due course. There are new Top 10 appearances from Ella Henderson, Becky Hill and Jax Jones who all make climbs this week. The biggest climber this week, Risk It All, is also the Track of the Week.

Along with the unknown entry at #3, there are new entries this week from Above & Beyond, Riton & RAYE, Fred again.. and INNA with a fresh hardstyle remix of a song from 2010!

Plenty of songs climbing this week including Elton John & Dua Lipa, Ella Henderson, Becky Hill, Jax Jones, Kideko, KC Lights and Majestic & Nightcrawlers.

Kris Kroc Amsterdam is the biggest faller this week, and with Bebe Rexha exiting this week, it means that Galantis, David Guetta & Little Mix, along with PS1, are the joint longest runners this week.

Leaving the Top 40 Countdown this week are Bebe Rexha, Afrojack & David Guetta, Alex Adair and Jubël, together with what remains to be an Unknown Pleasures 30 Entry which was never revealed due to the hosts delay in revealing the entries.
