Someone on DS suggested I Feel Love for Saara and I now NEED that to happen. It'd probably end her XF journey but I feel like she'll most probably go next week whatever happens laugh.gif

Someone on DS suggested YMCA for Honey G. It would be really funny imo. laugh.gif Another good song choice for her could be Celebration. sleep.gif

So expect a few shots of me in Ryan's VT this week, I just went to his small gig in London and met him, Emily and got served at the bar by Nicole.... laugh.gif he was very good anyway, he sang Stitches, Sorry (Bieber) and Oh Cecilia. Got a photo with him and a few with Emily although none with her actually turned out very well laugh.gif he also followed me on Twitter and gave me a hug heart.gif

I think 'Stitches', 'Oh Cecilia' and some form of 'Sorry' would really suit Ryan! He's one of the artists being used for his fanbase to sell tour tickets though, so they're not gonna push him any further and will give him songs which he clearly wouldn't record if he was to release an album! drama.gif

Stitches and Sorry were both done with his guitar alone, it worked really well, perfectly suited to him! Doesn't help really that the themes in general haven't allowed for these kinda songs to be sung sad.gif I do wish they were trying to give him more of a push because some of his performances (particularly Superstition and Rolling In the Deep) didn't show off his potential as an artist. Hopefully avoiding the bottom 3 + the good atmosphere of the gig tonight will give him a big boost for this week! biggrin.gif

Yeah I saw that, 10/1 I think when I looked prior to the election results (well this was after the elimination when the odds usually shift), now she's 6/1 and 3rd behind Emily and Matt. She is a fair way behind Emily though, Emily is a little over 2x more likely to win on the odds. But I'd like Honey G in the final just so that if I do carry on watching the series (which I probably will out of habit) there's a bit of entertainment to enjoy. It's not like she'll win and I'd rather watch her than anyone bar Saara who's left.

That's what a lot of people said about Trump and Brexit!

Remember joke act Stephen Maloney was polling above 50% until Cowell cajoled his media friends to go on an all out attack.

Honey G should do Dirtee Disco (the Dizzee Rascal track) although that would be disco house and not disco so probably ineligible.

I don't think they're arsed about eligibility at this stage. I mean, a Michael Jackson song was performed during Divas week laugh.gif

I guess they're no longer bothered about saving Ryan now that he's made it onto the tour

About time! It was a nice novelty to have once or twice to spice things up a bit but it was a bit of a joke, as we keep saying he could have feasibly received the least amount of "normal" votes and get saved by that vote.

It's still a public vote though with people choosing to save Ryan over the other two in the bottom 3

Yeah but it's targeted towards the app demographic, so is always gonna be biased to that sort of act. Also it can pretty much undermine the main vote in the case I described - if both acts in the sing off have more "proper" votes than the one who's saved. Having yet another component to the public vote just makes it seem like a bit of a farce to protect certain people who might fall into the bottom 3.

I called them axing it this week now we're past the halfway point, I expect Ryan will be gone this week although now it's only gonna be a bottom 2 in the vote, it's not impossible for him to avoid it again considering he was in the top 5 of the vote last week and would need to do that again to survive this week!

It will depend if they want to work with Saara's bounce or try and suppress it and get rid of her. I'm thinking they will work with it enough to try and bounce her above Sam and Ryan, although she really is due an early running order and Sam and Ryan are due late slots. But we've said that for a few weeks now and it hasn't really happened, I suppose they could even justify Saara a pimp slot as she hasn't had one since week 3 if they really wanted to help her.

My gut feeling says this week Sam and Ryan will be bottom 2 with the latter going, but of course Saara getting the Strictly overlap slot would mean curtains for her.
