it's already peaked at #43 but that's with just streaming, so clearly it is a huge hit in the waiting. Released to iTunes 10 July, it is a big contender to be Avicii's third UK #1 smash.
Do you think it could make it all the way then?? I am predicting a #1 position for this actually, it sounds massive. It'll initially climb to #2 behind Little Mix but I can't see them sustaining their sales so the following week they'll drop and make way for the king. *_
as for where I want it to peak, #1 obviously
I think a #2 peak but I wouldn't be surprised if it was slightly lower even, its pre-orders seem pretty underwhelming, especially for being #1 on Capital's most played. I wonder if it could be the first held-back release to have its position improved by streaming? (Apart from the 'being next to Taylor Swift' effect last year I don't think anything else has)
(below #40 in the 2nd question)
#2 for the first question and 21-40 for the 2nd one as it's not that good imo, he seems to have gotten very generic since 2014 for me
#1 for both but I think they will be #2 and then #1 after.
I just don't see the basis for it overtaking 'Black Magic' on the second week. Surely it'll be harder for it to do so with LM's inevitable boost in streaming points the following week? And like Rush mentioned, its pre-order hasn't done brilliantly despite stellar airplay. I still reckon it'll debut and peak at #2.
As for my personal preference, I'd say ~ top 10. It's a decent enough track; the verses are good, but the chorus really lets it down and is actually quite grating.
#1 for both. And would be the best of the year so far if so.
Think- #2
Want- Pulled from release for awfulness with any luck
Think: #1
Want: #1
Think it will be at #2 and I don't really care where it charts so just picked #2 again.
Good song though.
THINK #1
WANT #1 for 18 weeks~
I think it'll chart at #2, as for want I don't really care.
#1 and #999999999999999999.
Has next to no chance against 'Black Magic' really, and I'm not seeing much reason it'll overtake the week after yet. Would think this'll reach at least #2 though (but then there's Sam Feldt who's outdoing WFL on pre-orders, although that could just be pre-orders being misleading as they often are~)
I remember when his style used to sound quite fresh, this is further proving that that's over
#2 chartwise, won't beat Little Mix.
I think that there's no way Avicii can possibly get past Little Mix in their first week for some reason, I just can't shake Black Magic claiming number one, and quite easily now at that. I also feel that in the second week Little Mix will have enough about them to beat Avicii on sales and with their streaming increasing I think they'll hold on for the second week too.
While I'm far from a Little Mix fan I actually really like Black Magic but that doesn't stop me from wanting Avicii to still reach number one. Though with that said, I've found that Waiting For Love is a song that I loved when I first heard it that has sort of worn off on me a bit, if the same happens for everybody else it may struggle.
Little Mix will cook and eat Avicii alive.
Well, I don't care. Why is that Avicii video so boring. On the other hand, the Little Mix video is so amazing!
I'm predicting a #2 peak, but I haven't heard it so I can't say where I want it to peak.
Its streaming is impressive but I can't see it higher than #3 to be honest, its pre-order is quite low considering how much Capital are playing it. I also don't think it's gonna overtake Little Mix in week 2 either.
Want - #21-40, it's inoffensive but yet another clone of Wake Me Up to my ears
This is a lot better than the nights single. Should easily go top3.
