ahhh I'm really struggling with this, the one I want to send I have absolutely no idea if they're actually from Belgium, and most of the other good songs I've found the artists is French not Belgian and it's reallyyy irritating. I have an idea but the artist is kinda popular i.e. they've had a hit in the UK but this song is pretty much unknown so idk

I said I was happy with Iceland but I'm actually really struggling for songs! I had a look through the country's Spotify chart but the top 50 is filled with entire albums of about 4 trap artists and then the normal chart fodder from the UK/US. cry.gif

I have just added an Icelandic song to my top 1000 thread at number 955. I would love to see you enter it.

I didn't exactly need to do much digging for the UK, but I've taken the opportunity to put my 'what would I do if I was the BBC' hat on and sent a lovely song that is the sort of thing I think the UK really should be sending to Eurovision - a talented young artist with a contemporary, commercial, well-produced song that clocks in just shy of three minutes and wouldn't embarrass us in front of Europe. *Finishes last*

Right I have confirmed now! I was stuck between a dance-pop banger, a chilled mid-tempo song with lovely instrumentation, a loopy dance song or going down the foreign rap route again. I went with the dance-pop banger in the end as it's been stuck in my head for days!

I was getting a bit desperate trying to find something Hungarian that wasn't Eurovision related nor folk-rock but fortunately stumbled upon something really COOL with stunning visuals that wouldn't look out of place in Aeroche's list of entries IMO! Confirmed!

LMAO you try searching for something from Luxembourg that isn't some classical pianist or a grunge metal band. I HAVE LITERALLY GOT NOTHING!

I found a couple of great potentials. One is very traditional Balkan stunning beauty with a rock twist (Iz' 12 points pretty much guaranteed but we all know anything Iz loves is doomed) and another is more of vadge-pop people will probably appreciate more.

Interesting. Incidentally I'm facing similar dilemmas except without the things I love because Armenia doesn't DO rock. So it's standard vadge-pop or standard vadge-pop with an ~ethnic~ twist. Might have to do more searching.

Malta has so far lead me to one trance act in particular as there aren't a whole load of popular Maltese dance acts. Either that or something that sounds like 90s techno.
went for none of these in the end and instead I'll be masquerading as Jadakissnia again (it's not a recycle though). found something rather great.

Francesco Tristano is one of the best pianists tho, Luxembourgish or not.

And this actually sounds like a 2009 Rontvia DNQ. Luxembourg is a specialist subject of mine. x

Finally got something, I'm dying at the sample i have to send it. I have a better more obvious song but what better time is there than Worldvision to send something completely random you'd otherwise never send?

Think Pitbull crashing a bar mitzvah and you're there tbh
