Great breakbeat track from 1997. They manage to grab another Top 40 hit in 2000 with "Theme From Gutbuster"

This low top 40 1991 hit, largely forgotten by many until recently when it has featured on a UK TV advert.

I heard this while listening to previews of songs on some rave compilation on iTunes back in 2015.
The song also got a clear 12" release on Record Store Day last year

I loved “I Don’t Care”, but “Hello (Turn Your Radio On)” is even better IMO and that made #14.

A number 7 hit from January 1991. I think most will have forgotten this great house track!

Peaked at #12 in August 1990. TUNE.
As Colm pointed out in the 90s dance thread the main riff which repeats throughout sounds quite similar to the Chemical Brother's Block Rockin Beats.

This got to #10 in April 1991. I think most people even those in to the charts at the time would struggle to remember this, but it is a little gem.

Glad I could help. biggrin.gif

Exactly 27 years ago, Cubic 22 entered the Top 40 with “Night In Motion” - later sampled to great effect by Strike (on “U Sure Do”) in 1994.

It peaked at #15.

well so many of my all-time faves already listed so I don't need to add to them - though that they are "forgotten" seems harsh, surely they are still fairly well known! ohmy.gif

The Saint Etienne gem is inspired by this one, and is the only record I've come across that has even tried to sound like it....

The first futuristic record, heard by me as a pre-schooler and bought by my dad:
