f***ing ref is blind! No way was that a goal kick! The Brugge goalie was the last to touch the bast*rd ball!

Is it at old Trafford? Brugge did well in their league last season they will be no pushovers.

Interesting that Astana won their first league - could be a trip to Kazakhsan yet for some premiership team lol

Yeah we're at Home.

Pleased Memphis went to find Januzaj there. Was concerned that he was looking a little selfish at first.

QUOTE(Silas @ Aug 18 2015, 08:08 PM) *
What a fantastic return to Champions League football for Man U. Really f***ing fantastic.
However, 5 mins later the Depay goal was lovely. Very thrilled that he's got his first proper united goal.

His second goal was quite good too.

Indeed it was! Absolutely cracker of a performance tonight.

If I was a betting man I'd bet on him getting a 3rd

We just keep getting better every match. It's actually enjoyable to watch United play again and our new signings this season are just brilliant.

Romero made a bit of a meal out of that.

Literally the last touch of the match *.*

Much much better from us. Something like 17 or 18 attempts compared to 3 from our first 2 games. Just such a turn around.

The commentators were saying that Fellani's goal is controversial because when the cross was made the ref put his whistle to his mouth but I think it's a fair goal because that was the last attack of the match and referees normally play advantage in those situations.

On a side note it's great to see the Champions League badge back on Man Utd shirts again after last season (David Moyes I'm looking at you mad.gif) and it's great to take a win into the next leg.

BT Sport are utterly abysmal. It's worse than the F1 commentary and that's really saying something.

I'm looking forward to getting my number 31 shirt when I'm down that neck of the woods in December. Hopefully will snag one with the Champions League badge on it!

Celtic already 2-0 up against Malmo doing much better than they did last season.

Celtic, you just knew it was coming when Malmo scored 2 away goals last week laugh.gif top spot in the SPL may as well qualify you directly into the Europa League because it's the same chain of events that happen each and every year. Celtic easily win SPL ---> face an obscure European team in the Champions League play off ------> get knocked out by said obscure European team.

Anyway hopefully United will get the job done in Belgium tonight then we'll see what happens after that. I can't see us even coming close to winning the competition this season tbh sad.gif

I wouldn't say Malmo were exactly obscure. They qualified to the group stage last year.

The problem is that Celtic easily win the SPL because the standard up here is complete DROSS. Not a single top flight team in Scotland would stand a chance in the EPL. Half would struggle in the Championship and the bottom end of the SPL are League 1 standard on a good day.

Hazza, we'll be lucky to make it out of the groups! Hoping for a strong performance tonight and no own goals by United players.

*only the second year in a row this has happened to Celtic. Scotland and Sweden were pretty much level in the coefficients this year too.

Scottish teams are a bit crap, Celtic aside though, leagues where one club is so dominant (even two) isn't healthy for competition.

It was only inevitable once the first goal went in that Malmo would win.

Tonight's match against Club Brugge v Man United is live on BT Sport Showcase which is on Freeview Channel 59.

AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!! Shrek has broken his drought and I am so relieved for this.

Not playing particularly brilliant. Herrera is utter dross this evening (but still better than the BT Sport commentary team)

Herrera needs subbed at half time for either of the Sch's. The ref and his assistants need subbed for a team with f***ing eyes.
