The vocal take genuinely sounds unmastered and the entire thing sounds like it was ripped in low-quality from some website in 2007. Beyond that, the song itself isn't particularly great. A misstep.

Can people expand on what specifically it is about it that is 'so bad' (if it's not just about the mixing)? To my ears it's cute/catchy/uncomplicated, and that's enough for a random release that doesn't appear to be attached to a studio album. I've listened a fair few times on Tidal, on my loudspeakers, and it sounds normal/clear. Maybe that helps my view of it.
