Overall I think Darius has an excellent legacy. Yes Marathon flopped as he had to release himself after Greco Roman decided not to give him a deal (due to insurmountable working culture differences) but his management team was excellent at portraying a good image to his 1 million fans.

During the time of the above events, Darius was still revered as a living god by his 1 million fans which is quite an achievement. That relevancy

I think he should have had better infantry and realised that a frontal attack on a Greek phalanx wasn't going to work.

He for me has always been behind of the shadows from Gareth Gates and Will Young in the press. Annoying that Pop Idol performance gets mentioned in every article.

He certainly has a better voice than Gareth Gates in my opinion. Like Will Young, Darius' voice is very distinctive, no other singer I have heard sounds quite like him.
