I really love this sound. I played it back to back with A Rose is A Rose and both are fantastic This post has been edited by SmileyKylie: 20th May 2024, 06:33 AM |

The response to it is not great but I really like it, love the 80s vibe - is it going to be a hit? Drastically increase streaming? - No, but not everything she does needs to be a roaring commercial success despite what SH think

Exactly. It doing well on UK and US Itunes for example is sometimes enough for a bit more exposure

If she was going to be a feature/duet partner with a band to increase visibility, streams or sales, she at least could’ve done with someone way more relevant like Take That. I understand their biggest base is the UK but it’s better than NKOTB who aren’t even that big in the USA or anywhere, and aren’t even big steaming acts.

I would have preferred Take That myself but even with Take That it wouldn't be even guaranteed to make the top 100.

But she was probably just in LA and asked by BMG if she would do. Its easy promo for a stablemate
Probably done ages ago |

As we have said before kylie collaborations really arent her strong point as they are often underwhelming bar a small few.

14 of her top 50 Spotify Streamed songs are Collabs, not sure we can say they are weak point.
Some are certified bops |

For me most of her own solo output is far and above most of her collabs,

The version featuring Kylie has been removed from Amazon and replaced with the solo version - definitely a screw up then with Amazon being sent the wrong files, I’m guessing it’ll be a single for NKOTB at some point.

I hope it still gets a release From NME interview There’s a reworked version of the album track ‘In the Night’ circulating online that is a duet between NKOTB and Kylie Minogue… Donnie: “We were thinking of releasing it later as a surprise, but now somebody’s leaked it. We’re all massive fans of her. She’s great. We wrote it, and sent her the song. It was surreal. She’s a super-talent. We didn’t even know if she would actually even hear it, but she had it for one day, and sent it back with her vocals. She’s fantastic This post has been edited by SmileyKylie: 25th May 2024, 01:59 PM |
