Heh, probably the only chance Monaco has of avoiding that aforementioned semi nul-points and even then it's quite a long shot. Really rather the Coco-Dance than either of the ballads.

 Urban Symphony 'Rändajad' Urban Symphony are the first of our two Estonian qualifiers, in no particular order of course! They brought Estonia back to the final for the first time ever since the semi-finals were introduced.

 Sahlene 'Runaway'  'Diamond of Night' was actually putting up a very close fight for second for most of the week which was to my surprise, it didn't click with me like 'Keelatud maa' did for example from the pre-2000 entries. Still a good song though, but two fantastic qualifiers! Getter was pretty close, she held 2nd place for most of the voting. |

That's a very good showing for Kuula. Pleased with that. And with Randajad qualifying, as I expected it to.
Pretty suprisingly low for Partners In Crime, I'd have liked to give that points and it's not a bad effort by any means. Then again the only Estonian entry I have no time for in the slightest is Eighties Coming Back, all the others are at least pleasant. Even Leto Svet. |

 Ich Troje 'Follow My Heart' Ich Troje returned to Eurovision in 2006, with a better song in my opinion, but didn't manage to qualify finishing in 11th position. However they have qualified here (in no particular order of course), will their first Eurovision entry make it two out of two? |

 Donatan and Cleo 'My Słowianie - We Are Slavic'  Ich Troje couldn't make it two out of two, time will tell if they beat Donatan and Cleo to victory in this heat. 'Ale jestem' was in second spot for the majority of the voting, but unfortunately lost momentum in the end. It's definitely one of the best pre-2000 entries I've discovered though! |

 Yohanna 'Is It True?' The fantastic Yohanna is the first of our Icelandic qualifiers, time will tell if she was first in the heat. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to reveal this but I will anyway, the difference between second and third was just one point and the top 5 were covered by just 12 points and 6th was only a few points further back!  It was incredibly close all the way through the voting, but who is joining Yohanna and qualifying? |

 Hera Björk 'Je ne sais quoi'  Hera is our second qualifier! Selma was all out of luck and finished sixth, but that top 6 were insanely close through the voting process. One of our two qualifiers was never in the top 2 until the very final vote! 'Never Forget' was a big surprise for me, I was expecting it to be around 6th or so at best but I'm very pleased it got so close. It was in the top 2 after the penultimate vote and like I said, missed out by just 1 point in the end! |

So unless Nocturne manages to power its way past Berger/Mwangi/Haukaas Storeng/Rybak(?) we'll be 1995-less. Given I doubt the Russian, Slovenian or Bosnian entries from then will work out. That's pretty good to have gotten at least one from every other year though.

Polish Qs are both incredible. So pleased! Sahlene tho ugh. Would have preferred Tout de moi from Monaco but y'all absolutely CRUSHED Armenias Anytime You Need for no reason so yeah i had no faith in yo taste.
Minn hinsti dans a bit too low. It is so funny that the top 2 got only 3 12s and mine didnt go to Yohanna so that means she was not such a runaway winna after all. What a flop. Silas is the floppest fan as well not voting in this. So embarrassing. Major thankses to Ms Ryan for stepping in last week but Bosnia is next and I cant let anyone else do the heat with my favourite Eurovision country. |
