Fantastic. Very gripping and engaging, had me on the edge of my seat at times, a movie that really gets you thinking. Great performances from all the cast and reiterates what a huge loss Alan Rickman is.

I was very impressed with how good it was given the small time frame that it was set across and found it interesting to read that Helen Mirren, Alan Rickman, Aaron Paul & Barkhad Abdi never met each other during filming. Also found it fascinating to see all the various communication and parties involved in situations like this.

It reminded me of Bridge of Spies, being a tense war thriller with lots at stake and a lot of dialogue to pay attention to, and as such I think it'll end up being one of the finest movies of the year.

I was going to see this but I was scared it might be like 'Midnight Special' and just be full of boring confusing dialogue sad.gif.

Saw this tonight and what an excellent movie. All the performances were very powerful and great performances, I was wondering if none of them had shot together so thanks for confirming that they didn't Jahq! This was such a tense movie and a very interesting film.

9.5/10

I also really liked how it didn't have a happy ending and I think that helped to elevate it for me. At one point it looked like the bread was all going to be bought and the girl would get away in time and I thought it might end up being too 'convenient' but no!

Well this was incredible! Really love gripping films like this with a moral dilemma, bravo performance from the cast too.

Was going into this expecting another dull army type thriller but I ended up absolutely loving it. Had me gripped right from the start with following the little girl's day to day life and it really built up well from there, the last half an hour was so intense. I'm glad they didn't shy away from a sad ending too, I was really tearing up when the bomb did hit the building. Some very interesting characters and dilemmas too, all excellently acted (Helen Mirren's tough approach being my highlight). Might even have to get this on DVD which is one thing I was not expecting!
