Also interesting r.e. Lene was that Unforgivable Sinner was the bigger hit in Norway, a long-running No.1 there but a small top 20 here.

She co-wrote the song Good Girl Gone Bad for Rihanna in 2007 (title track of her album) and musically it really sounds like Lene's 2000 material to me so I can completely hear it.

Jem… after the amazing singles run of They, Just a Ride and Wish I from Finally Woken, I can only recall one other single and I don’t think that made waves!

Diana Vickers if you can call SFTTCT a huge era.

Alexandra Burke also, come to think of it. Overcome was HUGE but the follow-up wasn’t even a modest success.

Gnarls Barkley were massive in 2006 but their second era in 2008 flopped.

I think there’d be a few more artists from the X Factor that fit into this category.

Rebecca Ferguson?
Cher Lloyd?

Samantha Mumba?
B*witched - more from a singles perspective but second album sales were down on first

Hmm she had all of her singles reach top 10 but after 'I'm Right Here' peaked at 5 there was nothing after and she didn't release a 2nd album but who knows whether she would've kept up with or been more floppy with the second era.
