MW always do this for artists reminds me of the XF!
Off topic but did anyone notice 2 weeks ago MW didn't have a chart section at all in the magazine then two chart weeks last week? |

That was due to Easter holidays obviously.
Digital edition is available on Tuesday. |

But yeah those are some impressive records and figures! I like Meghan though I'm maybe not a huge fan, so I'm pleased to see her star burning so bright in an era full of one hit wonders

It still honestly baffles me HOW she has made herself into a viable popstar, she just doesn't have any of the popstar qualities... although I have liked 2 or 3 of her songs, but still.

I hated all about the bass and thought she would be a one hit wonder. However, dear future husband and lips are movin are much better songs. I'm not keen on her current song though.

I assumed it was down to the fact that the publishers went to press on the Thursday, a day before the charts were compiled. The Chart Pack is basically the charts section of the magazine. I do think that charging the full amount for the weekly issue was wrong though given that the magazine was missing an entire section - all of the charts! - and as a result had very few pages. In the past when there has been a smaller page count (it sometimes used to happen after the Christmas / New Year holidays when the issue was basically consisted of charts and little else) the first issue of the New Year always had a cover price which was at least £1 cheaper than the price of the regular weekly magazine. Indeed - I think it's up to 5.50 as well now, I usually read it in the shop and buy the issues with memorable charts/covers I want to keep - usually the Xmas chart each year as its my favourite part of chart history so like to have a record of the reasoning for NEs etc.
