Good Evening! Welcome to the Federal Republic of Ashton and to this very special edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest. I am Queen Tone Damli of the United Kingdoms of Tinnmark and Ashton and I am here to be your guide to the confirmations process. So if you'd like to follow me we'll get this show on the road.
Before we proceed, you need to be a registered nation of the Buzzjack Song Contest. If you've never taken part before swing by here http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=175309 and register your nation. If you are a Permabanned nation, then we regret that you will be unable to participated in this event.
For the regulars, this contest is a fully sanctioned BJSC event however this will not count towards any statistics nor will the veto, or any standard rules regarding entries, be enforced.

No confirmations will be accepted via PM
Confirmations will close at 23:59 GMT on March 12th. Presentation of entries will be the following evening.
That's not to say that there will be no entry restrictions. While you can enter something that has been in the contest before, hit the top of the charts, or is on every blog on the internet; it needs to be "A song that defines Buzzjack" in order to make the cut.
What do we mean by that?
- Chart hits with spectacular runs that became Chart Forum Meme's.
- Significant songs in Buzzjack's history
- A song that was instrumental in a certain event on Buzzjack
- A well known song that is 'Buzzinfamous'.
Basically something that has a tangible link to Buzzjack.

I have entered a simply IKONEK song, I feel like it's VERY much associated with/defines a specific forum on Buzzjack better than almost anything else could.

Fairly sure I might've been the double artist confirmation, which would be the first time this kind of thing happened to me. Never been vetoed before in seven years (as far as I can remember anyway ). The post saying there was one came right after my confirmation, and I don't see my country in the list (although that doesn't necessarily mean anything by itself, and I haven't been PM'd or anything). I have a couple of other ideas should this be the case, but I don't feel as strongly about them :'(
This will be a fun celebratory contest whatever the case!

Yep we have Ojnoj and Taahino entries on the spreadsheet, the list in the OP is taken from just before you confirmed Lindsey - there were a lot of opening night confirmations, more than on the list in the OP!

We will be allowing an artist to represent more than one nation.
An artist can appear once per 20 participants. So if we have 1-20 people then each artist can appear once. 21-40 people then each artist can appear twice. (and so on)
There are many artists with more than one buzz defining song so we feel this is fair.

Might have to sit this one out as I'm out of ideas. I just hope whoever has sent what I tried to wasn't on Plug on Monday night when I said I was sending it, as they could have just told me rather than keep it secret and I would have had an extra two days to find a replacement.

Kylienips confirmed, I just hope I gave a good reason, I was really stumped with my track though, I just couldn't think of anything else.
I was really nervous using the new system, I nearly PM my entry by mistake without reading the new rules as I was used to the old system, and with personal issues I haven't been around much.
Plus my internet keeps cutting out

I can sort of understand why some people are struggling with the 'concept', after all it's always going to be quite subjective but there are loads of songs out there which still haven't been entered which have a strong Buzzconnection.
