I couldn't see a topic for this lot anywhere else, so here's one now. Simon Fuller (Spice Girls, S Club 7 and Pop Idol) has put this lot together following a year and a half of auditions, all assorted singers, dancers and vloggers from around the world, hence their name.
They've worked with RedOne on their music and they have their own vlog series on YouTube called 'The Now United Show' which has over 150,000 subscribers. They've released three singles so far, although rather cannily they've all only been available on YouTube. 'Summer In The City' and the most recent one 'Who Would Think That Love?' are their best ones, they're sunny sounding pop but very current - and obviously coming from Simon Fuller the S Club comparisons are obvious. It would be nice to see a group like them breakthrough here in the UK because I think pop has been missing someone like them for a while. |

Video for their next single, 'All Day' has landed. Unseasonable for the time of year but still a total bop!
I can't see why Simon/19 has been slow to add their music to Spotify. I need them on my playlists. |

Their new single is 'How We Do It' featuring Indian rapper Badshah - the video was filmed in Mumbai.

All Day is a bit of a bop *.* Their music not being available to buy or stream is kind of odd.
Has one of the male members left btw? Only noticed 13 people in the last two videos! |

All Day is brilliant!! As is the latest one. Really irritating that it isn't on iTunes or Spotify yet, it strikes me as a really silly business move :')

Oh it is, isn't it Jay? Jamal (who's the UK member) has been absent for the last two videos, but partly because of passport/Visa issues. There's an interview with Simon Fuller here where he explains why they're absent on Spotify etc: https://www.musicbusinessworldwide.com/can-...-and-confusion/ |

New single 'Beautiful Life' is out now. That looks amazing where they shot the video for this one!
They've also just signed a deal with Pepsi which will see them on their new TV adverts. This post has been edited by ThePensmith: Jan 29 2019, 07:56 PM |

Why isn't this available to stream? It's a bop. Simon Fuller's making them available to YouTube only because he doesn't want a pop band to be all praying to streaming just because everyone else is doing it or something. Which considering how many platforms he had Spice Girls, S Club and Pop Idol spread across in their respective times seems a bit backward! |

So he’s basically decided he wants them to have no commercial success? Certainly a questionable choice.

So he’s basically decided he wants them to have no commercial success? Certainly a questionable choice. I think if you look at the interview I posted above a few months ago he says that how they'll gain their success is through assorted sponsorship - Pepsi being one of them. He's kidding himself though if he thinks he can market a new pop group in this day and age without streaming being taken into account. |

New single released last week is 'Paraná', video was filmed in Brazil. 'All Day' is also being used in a new ad campaign for Rexona (or Sure as it's known here in the UK): This post has been edited by ThePensmith: Jun 18 2019, 09:16 PM |

I see great potential in them, but 15 members is far too much. I just don't see the benefit...?
I do however already recognize star quality in some of the members. By the way, are any of them happen to be (openly) gay? |

It would appear that Simon Fuller has finally clocked that streaming needs to be a part of a potentially major new pop group's marketing remit. All the singles to date are gonna be available to stream from Monday:
