A chance to review and discuss the contributions Emeli Sandé has made to the music industry over the years. The British star has managed several UK hits in the past decade including two #1 singles and three Top 10 albums to date. She may not have the same kind of commercial success she became accustomed to some years back now, but she still gets asked to provide vocals on some songs as this list shows; Never Be Your Woman (with Naughty Boy & Wiley) Wonder (with Naughty Boy) Lifted (with Naughy Boy) Free (with Rudimental) More Than Anything (with Rudimental) What I Did For Love (with David Guetta) Thunder (with Netsky) Love Me More (with Chase & Status) Survive (with Don Diablo & Gucci Mane) Which of her current dance features is your favourite? Which dance producers would you like to see her feature with in the future? She’s done a lot of work with Naughty Boy over the years which has helped her to gain a few UK Top 10 singles but it was a drum & bass song that did not chart which is my top choice here, it’s an underrated bop. Here’s my ratings; 1. Thunder (with Netsky) 2. Love Me More (with Chase & Status) 3. Lifted (with Naughy Boy) 4. More Than Anything (with Rudimental) 5. Wonder (with Naughty Boy) 6. Free (with Rudimental) 7. Never Be Your Woman (with Naughty Boy & Wiley) 8. What I Did For Love (with David Guetta) 9. Survive (with Don Diablo & Gucci Mane) Her best genre for me has to be drum and bass, I think she could make a song or two with the likes of Culture Shock and Metrik in the future still. Other than that I don’t hold out much hope that she will ever get a Top 40 hit again in her career sadly. |

I'm going with 'Wonder'. I don't remotely think of it as being a dance track, but I love it so much.
'What I Did For Love' has also grown on me a LOT since its release. |

poor Emeli Sande, totally forgotten by the GP :/
sadly the only way she could get a hit now is if she used her real name and people bought it by mistake thinking it's the other Adele |

Surprised with the number of votes for Free but especially with What I Did For Love, one of David Guetta’s worst singles for me.

As it should be Yes Lifted is better than Wonder I agree. I really liked it at the time whereas I thought Wonder was just OK. I chose Never Be Your Woman in the list overall though. The original White Town song is probably a bit better but that cover is still a bop. This post has been edited by Вuzzjack H'ween: Oct 21 2020, 04:39 PM |

I'm surprised What I Did For Love isn't winning by a considerable margin, I find that to be the best, more upbeat and anthemic than the rest of these.
