[40] Fat Dog finally score their 1st ever #1 single on my chart thanks to the manic energy of the fittingly titled 'Running' This victory for the band comes after a close competition with Kendrick Lamar's Drake diss 'euphoria'. Kendrick also scores a new entry at #6 this week with what is possibly the harshest diss track of all time (excluding 'BBL Drizzy') titled 'meet the grahams'. Tommy Richman may be shuffling his way to the UK top 5 next week but alas, he already has a top 5 single here! And lastly, Justice X Tame Impala prove once again that they are an incredible collaborative trio and hit the top 10 with 'Neverender'. This Week's Number One Song The Highest New Entry This Week (Excluding The No. 1) Retro Chart Pick (My Favourite Song From The UK Top 10 On This Day) - This Week Taken From 2005 |

Hey Nate!
Fortnight still doing well. The more I watch the video, the more I enjoy it. Especially at the bridge. That's a fab climb for illusion. A bop. Unfortunately for the album itself, I wasn't a fan. I mean nothing is bad, it just feels like a slog for me. So in this case, I'll be seeing what she releases as singles and charting them. Nice chart |

Hi Nate!
Nice to see "euphoria" in the runner-up position, "Neverender" reaching the top 10 and the debuts for "meet the grahams", "Not Like Us", "Maria", "Whatcha Doing", "Falling Forever" and "Good Luck, Babe!". Great chart! Take care. |

Hey Nate, hope you're good
'Running' is an amazing choice of #1 this week was very close for me too but the power of Fontaines was just too much in the end! 'Maria' was certainly a highlight from Radical Optimism for me too, those flutes are just gorgeous. Some great electronic new entries this week with 'CHROMA 003' and 'Don't Stop' I knew those two names together on the latter collab had to produce greatness *.* Finally, I'm happy to see Chappell Roan sneaking in for you this week! 'Good Luck, Babe!' has been such a grower, hopefully it'll get a video soon as she's quite an exciting artist visually. |

Nice chart Hi James! Indeed, 'Fortnight' gets better with every listen Probably my 2nd fav of Taylor's UK #1s (behind 'Anti-Hero' ofc). I do kinda agree with you about 'Radical Optimism', a few bangers scattered across the album but it is weak compared to 'Future Nostalgia'. Thinking 'Falling Forever' may be the next single? Hi Nate! Nice to see "euphoria" in the runner-up position, "Neverender" reaching the top 10 and the debuts for "meet the grahams", "Not Like Us", "Maria", "Whatcha Doing", "Falling Forever" and "Good Luck, Babe!". Great chart! Take care. Hi Sergej! Kendrick is really just flexing his superiority as a rapper on 'euphoria', one of the best hip-hop songs of the year for me! Sad it stalled at #11 in the UK 'meet the grahams' is one of the best written works I have ever heard, best hip-hop song of this decade contender as well? Good Luck, Babe! Hi Jack! 'Good Luck, Babe!' was a huge grower for me! I have not clicked with any other material from Chappell (especially the BJSC entries ) but this a bop x Hey Nate, hope you're good 'Running' is an amazing choice of #1 this week was very close for me too but the power of Fontaines was just too much in the end! Only one year of releasing music and they are making legitimate masterpieces That's some real slayage The power of Fontaines may indeed overthrow the King of The Slugs + co this coming Friday here as well. The production of 'Radical Optimism' is fantastic! 'Maria' is such an underrated gem This 'CHROMA' series has had some phenomenal results so far, here's hoping the remaining volumes will be just as fabulous. I could definitely tell DJ HEARTSTRING + southstar would create instant magic as well As much as I don't enjoy the majority of her music, it really is amusing to see the eccentricity that Chappell displays in her videos! |
