OK I will obviously lap this up, even if Dancing Queen was terrible I can't not support the Queen!
Wish she would do a new studio album though, it's been 10 years since her last one. |

I am very excited for this, Cher honking over some Christmas classics sounds like a no-brainer - the more inappropriate and ludicrous the covers the better *.*

A Christmas album doesn’t really interest me unless the songs are original or less well known tracks. Most artists these days seem to record the same Christmas covers so I hope this will be a bit different. I’ve also read that reissues of believe and living proof may be on the way. These are two of her best albums.

Guys, this is a pop emergency!
Cher has started teasing the first single from her upcoming Christmas album. It's an original Christmas song co-written by Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa, Katy Perry) & Leland (Troye Sivan). |

A house Christmas banger That's one way of making it original!!
I still feel like Mariah and Leona cornered the I Want You for Christmas angle so well, that there's no original space left in that thene. |

Tbf there was also the Lady GaGa duet. And her duets with Chrissie Hynde, Neneh Cherry and Eric Clapton. Than the one with Meatloaf. Not to mention the several albums with Sonny. I think it’s more she hasn’t had them recorded especially for her solo albums after all was tacked on the end of heart of stone after benign a stand alone single form a soundtrack which performed really well in America. |

Apart from After All (which was a movie theme), she has never had a duet on one of her 26 studio albums. This post has been edited by Voodoo: 5th September 2023, 07:52 PM |
