50. Jax Jones - House Work (feat. Mike Dunn & MNEK)
176. Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault

229. Tulisa - Sweet Like Chocolate (feat. Akelle)
595. Bastille - Send Them Off!
1254. Rebecca Ferguson - Bones
Kent Jones - "Alright" needs to be on that list
Delighted to see these reductions this week;
Offaiah Trouble 59p
Matoma & Becky Hill False Alarm 59p
This should propel them into the Top 20 easily.
Tul-Tul is releasing a new single?
About sweets...
What a boring release week.
78. Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault
Painfully bad release week this week, roll on the 16th.
78. Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault
127. Tulisa - Sweet Like Chocolate (feat. Akelle)
187. Sting - I Can't Stop Thinking About You
210. Bastille - Send Them Off!
312. Rebecca Ferguson - Bones
807. Usher - Rivals (feat. Future)
zara #47
I don't like it very much, but I think that Zara's new song could compete for the first female-lead number one this year.
8. Ariana Grande - Side To Side
10. The Black Eyed Peas - #Wheresthelove
18. Digital Farm Animals & Cash Cash - Millionaire
20. Martin Garrix & BeBe Rexha - In The Name Of Love

84. Tory Lanez - Luv
86. Rudimental - Healing
9. The Black Eyed Peas
31. Zara Larsson
64. Tulisa
28 Zara Larsson Ain't My Fault
I'm surprised that Zara is only #27, I thought she would have managed to be close towards the top 10 on iTunes now considering that Capital have already began hammering it and it's Radio 1 TOTD.
I was also expecting a higher climb
more surprised at BEPs being #7 now
51 Tulisa - Sweet Like Chocolate
Assuming both versions are combined, #WHERESTHELOVE is #6.
Zara Larsson up to #24!
and I would assume #Wheresthelove and Where Is The Love won't be combined as they are two different songs with different titles.
Ugh. I wish people would re-download the original instead. The new version is awful! They've sucked the melody out of it completely!
agree they just sing the old lyrics without any melody
I'd also think they won't be combined
I did not foresee Where is the Love doing so well this time round. New version is average but i thoroughly enjoy the original.
16. Digital Farm Animals & Cash Cash - Millionaire (ft. Nelly)
18. Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault
22. Matoma & Becky Hill - False Alarm
37. Dua Lipa - Blow Your Mind (Mwah)
40. Jack Savoretti - When We Were Lovers
41. Bastille - Send Them Off
50. Tulisa - Sweet Like Chocolate
89. Rebecca Ferguson - Bones
Tulisa about 1000 places higher than I expected!
I very much doubt all of those will be entering the top 40.
I think we'll get Zara Larsson, Black Eyed Peas, Mike Perry and Digital Farm Animals though even that may be asking for too much
Tul-Tul will surprise everyone and chart at #1 once she gives another epic performance in flats :worthy:
7. The Black Eyed Peas - #Wheresthelove (feat. The World)
14. Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault
37. Bastille - Send Them Off!
41. Jack Savoretti - When We Were Lovers
51. Tulisa - Sweet Like Chocolate (feat. Akelle)
77. Michael Buble I Believe In You
84. Rebecca Ferguson - Bones
123. Usher - Rivals (feat. Future)
170. Everything Everything - I Believe It Now
175. M.I.A. - Freedun (feat. ZAYN)
180. Sting - I Can't Stop Thinking About You
206. Cheshire Fire Choir - The Rising
798. AlunaGeorge Mediator
914. Chase & Status feat Tom Grennan - All Goes Wrong (Acoustic)
1443. Chris Lorenzo - Sleep Talk (feat. Alex Mills)
'House Work' at number 55, very late 2006/2007 sounding.
I suppose late 2006 and 2007's minimalistic electro gave rise to this type of dance music, especially Fedde Le Grand's 'Put Your Hands Up For Detroit' and 'The Creeps'.
Never liked the late 2006 and 2007 period for dance anyway (as it was a massive comedown from the period just before then), so I don't like 'House Work' much.
I can't see it entering top 40 officially, and I certainly hope it doesn't.
Stormzy invasion *.*
48 Stormzy - Scary
67 Stormzy - One Take Freestyle
74 Stormzy - Standard
Why?
zara at 13
Where do we all think the Tulisa song is going to chart then?
I'm going to guess at #130.
I'd go for #157. What about Zara?
can't really say until we know how well she's done in her first day on spotify, but seeing as it's #13 on iTunes right now I'd be tempted to say #33 officially.
Any sign of the original version of 'Sweet Like Chocolate' at all in the Top 1500?
16. Offaiah. Hope it goes top 40 officially next week
They haven't put Tulisa on Spotify, there's no way that's even going top 1,000.
05. #Wheresthelove (feat. The World) - The Black Eyed Peas
12. Ain't My Fault - Zara Larsson
18. False Alarm - Matoma & Becky Hill
33. Bastille - Send Them Off!
38. Jack Savoretti - When We Were Lovers
68. Michael Buble I Believe In You
74. Rebecca Ferguson - Bones
94. Usher - Rivals (feat. Future)

169. Everything Everything - I Believe It Now
172. M.I.A. - Freedun (feat. ZAYN)
374. Ellie Goulding - Still Falling for You (Jonas Blue Remix)
644. AlunaGeorge Mediator
784. Mark Knight - Yebisah
967. Chris Lorenzo - Sleep Talk (feat. Alex Mills)
1139. Zedd & Grey - Adrenaline
Rather exciting that we could have Zara Larsson, The Black Eyed Peas, offaiah, Matoma, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande and Cash Cash all entering this week.
4. Black Eyed Peas - #Wheresthelove
11. Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault
13. offaiah - Trouble
Headed for top 10 along with Zara! (and subsequently top 40 for both )
113. John Gibbons - Would I Lie to You
Fantastic. Onward and upward, and hopefully into the top 100 and then top 40 for this.
many songs could potentially go top 40 next week
Where is the love'16: itunes #5 Spotify n.a. but top 40 on apple
Ariana - Side by Side: itunes #8 Spotify #52
Zara Larsson: itunes #11 Spotify new at #60
offaiah - Trouble: itunes #13 Spotify #69
Matoma - False alarm: itunes #16 Spotify #51
Millionaire: itunes #21 Spotify #56
Toothbursh: itunes #25 Spotify #59
Mike Perry: itunes #48 Spotify #26
This week's chart looks like it's going to be an apology for last week's.
Let's just hope the X Factor doesn't come in and ruin it
Black Eyed Peas will probably miss the top 25 at this rate. Remember Katy Perry's 'Rise' was an iTunes #1 (briefly) but as it wasn't on Spotify it only made the official #25.
It's one thing to pick rising songs that have a chance of entering but you have to consider the songs that will drop out too to make place. Right now I can only see Dua Lipa, Craig David/Sigala, M.O. & possibly DNCE/Snakehips falling out which would only leave 5 open spots. Galantis & Mike Posner still have insane streaming numbers & will inevitably climb back in throughout the course of the week & the others (Coldplay, Adele, gnash etc.) are too far from the exit door to fall that many places...
I could see Zayn's 'Pillowtalk' getting a big boost from X Factor tonight, a returning contestant who made bootcamp in 2014 sings it well (there's a preview on their YouTube page).
5 - Black Eyed Peas - #Wheresthelove
Zara being at #10 was incredibly brief. She's had a good start on Spotify so hopefully she manages to debut within the top 25.
171. KDA - Just Say (feat. Tinashe)
I hope this can do something, it'd be a shame if KDA were denied a second successive hit.
4 Olly Murs - You Don't Know Love
Assuming this has been performed somewhere? He's having such an erratic chart run with this song
WHY is Olly at 4?!
172. Hailee Steinfeld & Grey - Starving (ft. Zedd) ITS COMING *.*
From 29 to 4? :| OMG. That's what happened when sales are so low. How is he doing on Streaming?
15. With You
4. Olly Murs - You Don't Know Love
15. Original Cast Recording - With You
37. Birdy - Wild Horses
40. A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera - Say Something
47. Sara Bareilles - Gravity
67. WSTRN - A-List
73. Sam Bailey - With You
Gravity to reach top 40 please
The Sam Bailey song? Get dat relevance.
Oh that's only at 73.
Ugh I forgot we are in XF season again 😐, although not long until Mariah enters our top 1000 again 😄
Sam is coming for Blood!
Olly Murs desperation to get this song into top 10 continues with his performance on Strictly, if this doesn't work the record company might have to resort to buying and streaming the song themselves.
Comments like that really, REALLY wind me up! More than they should. So imma stay out of this one (as I'm sure I've said it numerous times before!)
10 Original Cast Recording - With You
59 Sam Bailey - With You (Coming for your faves weave!!)
4. You Don't Know Love - Olly Murs (Strictly)
10. With You - Original Cast Recording (X-Factor)
38. Say Something - A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera (X-Factor)
41. Gravity - Sara Bareilles (X-Factor)
49. Bones - Rebecca Ferguson
There's a lot of "love" in the Top 10 at the minute;
2. DJ Snake feat. Justin Bieber Let Me Love You
4. Olly Murs You Don't Know Love
7. The Black Eyed Peas feat. The World #Wheresthelove
8. Bob Marley & The Wailers feat. LVNDSCAPE & Boiler Is This Love
9. With You - Original Cast Recording (X-Factor)
55. With You - Sam Bailey
Olly is going over the top...
Big effects from XF and SCD this week...presumably because sales have got so low. Shame it won't make a blind bit of difference officially apart from maybe a token top 100 week for With You if it's lucky.
Nice to see people appreciating Sara Bareilles though, there's so much more to her than Love Song, I genuinely can't believe it's her only top 40 hit here.
I honestly thought 'Brave' was gonna be a huge smash hit for her, especially as it was featured in an ad, iirc!
EDIT: Didn't Katy Perry also get caught in some sort of lawsuit for 'Roar' sounding too similar?
3. You Don't Know Love - Olly Murs
9. With You - Original Cast Recording
33. Wild Horses - Birdy
38. Say Something - A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera
41. Gravity - Sara Bareilles
49. Bones - Rebecca Ferguson
53. With You - Sam Bailey
75. Say Something I'm Giving Up on You - Sam Redden
Incredible boost for Olly - Would love to see it snatch a week Top 10. And at Sam Bailey getting that relevance.
I'm surprised no one has performed One Dance by Drake yet on The X Factor.
Happy with the huge jump for Olly, hopefully his streams will also increase. Nice to see Sam Bailey showing up as high as 55, id love if she could even manage a top 100 place in the official chart but i know its highly unlikely.
I was hoping Rebecca Ferguson was going to get a bigger boost as 'Bones' was #74 before her performance so a bit disappointed that it's only climbed to #48 so far. I love the song and I really hope that radio get behind it.
As much as I love Olly and the song I just wish Rebecca had that boost instead A wonderful version of what was already a great song, she brings such a magic feel to anything she touches <3
Olly's chart run is going to look ridiculous, what with it shooting back up iTunes every other week
not that crazy, he shot up on itunes during impact week due to his promo + being 59p and now this week again due to re-promoting
It has had a bit of a strange run though, the 19 in its chart run does seem quite anomalous, and if it gets a new peak this week too that'll look odd too
23-34-30-32-35-{19}-31-27->8
I am LOVING these X-Factor boosts, hopefully some of these tracks can stabilize
I always find it interesting to see what songs from musicals that haven't received a cinema/TV release catch on outside of the confines of the theatre and become well regarded as songs in their own right. I can see why it's happened with "With You", it is delightful.
Will be interesting to see where 'With You' charts, currently #7 on iTunes but I'm guessing next to no streams.
Even if it stays top 10 on iTunes all week I don't think it'll make the top 40
Wait, would all versions of the song be combined?
"With You" at #6. I was hoping for it to fall
I think it is refreshing to see a proper ballad in the top 10 that isn't Calum Scott
3. You Don't Know Love - Olly Murs
5. With You - Original Cast Recording
8. #Wheresthelove (feat. The World) - The Black Eyed Peas
19. Wild Horses - Birdy
30. Say Something - A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera
36. Gravity - Sara Bareilles
46. Bones - Rebecca Ferguson
52. With You - Sam Bailey
71. Ex-Factor - Lauryn Hill (X-Factor)
87. With You (feat. Caissie Levy) [Solo version] - Cast of Ghost - The Musical
91. Carry You Home - Ward Thomas
94. Say Something I'm Giving Up on You - Sam Redden
100. I Didn't Know My Own Strength - Whitney Houston
118. Redemption Song - Bob Marley & The Wailers (X-Factor)
Birdy...! Wild Horses is merely six months old, surely we've got another year to wait before this is due to smash? It's taking off far too quickly!
Performed on X Factor this weekend:
5. Original Cast Recording - With You (Also 81, 464)
29. A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera - Say Something (Also 321, 702)
36. Sara Bareilles - Gravity

96. Sam Redden - Say Something I'm Giving Up on You (Also 666)

74. Whitney Houston - I Didn't Know My Own Strength
81. Cast of Ghost - The Musical - With You (feat. Caissie Levy) [Solo version]
What's with "Lush Life" climbing? Bet it's to do with the release of her new single
11 Offaiah - Trouble, Coming for the Top 10
Pleased to see Bastille still Top 40 - Literally can't wait for their album
I'd love offaiah to have a massive boost and subsequently get a chart play. It's an open playing field for any new entry to have a big boost and climb into the top 25.
Trouble 10
With You 11
Yes Offaiah!
Loving 'Trouble', so pleased!
Trouble now up to #9
Omg yesss
Offaiah coming for official top 40 this week then!
100. Sia- The Greatest
51. Sia - The Greatest
wow
Sia - 18 Now.
This has to be the biggest impact Radio 1's TOTD has had in ages!
Meanwhile Offaiah is up to #8.
The song was only released today wasn't it? So it's not all down to radio 1
The Greatest is definitely not her greatest song.
I hate it
Queen.
13. Ain't My Fault (Doing incredible, I don't think it will go to #1 but I'm guessing top 5 is a certain for this considering there's no music video yet)
58. Lush Life
144. Girls Like
292. Never Forget You
349. This One's For You
558. Lush Life
882. Uncover (Not this been top 1,000 for over 10 months now, it's trickle sales will be interesting to know)
1226. Lush Life
sia #8
7. Sia ft Kendrick Lamar - The Greatest
Woah
I suppose the YouTube teaser would have helped as well, considering it's rising up so fast and doing well it could get an instant B/A-List add to the R1 playlist this week.
It has a lot of iTunes promo I guess... It will most likely fall tomorrow
On another note - REJOYCE. Sia's on Spotify
If she can pull some decent figures consistently (I mean top 3 on iTunes), and her streaming's decent enough, she MAY be on track for a top 40 entry this week, but it's not likely.
Probably too late for her to enter the top 40.
How did Alive do on release? Did it ever actually go top 10 on iTunes?
Trouble only just taking off FINALLY, just when I'm kinda over it. Ah well I'm still glad the song is getting success one way or whichever.
I see Imany has climbed a little again, just waiting for that BIG push from somewhere......
Didn't realise Sia had a new track, top 10 already on iTunes, could be the next #1, hopefully the track smashes on spotify, its actually quite good.
Still find it such a shame Sia didn't release 'Waving Goodbye' from the soundtrack for Neon Demon. It's an amazing song.
I'm still desperately hoping for a 'Broken Glass' release.
4. Sia ft Kendrick Lamar - The Greatest
Good GOD. I'd say it'll get to #3 now at the least - who knows if it could overtake DJ Snake?
Go on Sia
Approve of Sia's features lately... first Sean Paul now Kendrick Lamar.
The Greatest is quite decent actually.
We need more releases like this to (try) and shake up the charts a bit!
Have to say it never occurred to me that the same person could like both Sean Paul and Kendrick Lamar.
Bonus pop trivia points if you know what they have in common (other than appearing on Sia records, obviously).
The Greatest 2
72 Melanie C - Anymore
109 Melanie C/Sons Of Sonix - Numb
Sia is stepping it up in terms of guest singers, maybe she'll have Frank Ocean for the next one
Kworb being shit again by the looks and not giving an update for 3 hours -- typical.
Really pleased at Sia now that it's doing so well, I really wish she'd waited until Friday to release it so it could chart as high as possible. Although hopefully it's promoted as a proper single and supported by radio so that it will climb to its peak in later weeks.
Could you imagine a chart battle between Sia & GaGa? *.*
Sia should have released last Friday in a chance to get an extra new entry to the top 40 & maybe top 5 to break up the dull non movement at the top end.... hadji teas~
Don't worry Rob, we'll have a Calvin Hartis vs Lady GaGa chart battle next week instead.
Which of course won't be much of a battle, because Calvin Harris will smash all the competition
I think it surely depends on the choice of collaborator? It's not as if even the Rihanna collaboration went to #1 and HDIYL only started off at #7 initially...
I don't think Lady GaGa has much chance of #1 either truth be told.
Gaga has worked with Ronson, so could be her Uptown Funk
don't forget Calvin also released some terrible recent ones, like the one with Dizzie and the Ol้ song with John Newman aka the worst song of the year, so it's not like he's King Midas or anything
The Calvin track is with Ellie apparently.
53. Snakehips - Cruel (feat. ZAYN)
Gobsmacked at how poorly this has performed, even with a discount. It's leagues ahead of both 'Pillowtalk' and 'All My Friends' for me.
In fact, everything post-Pillowtalk for Zayn has been a bit of a commercial disaster.
Trouble has been deleted from iTunes, strangely
Ariana to #10 because of it, hopefully she can get a nice top 10 effect again now!
Anything to help Zara go top 10 on iTunes tbh.
10. Ariana Grande Feat Nicki Minaj - Side By Side 25.4%
11. Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault 24.4%
Come for that top 3 smash again Zara.
I hope the new Calvin is back to his funkier house style (Ready for The Weekend, Pray to God, Outside etc.) and not tropical future bass like 'This Is What You Came For'.
why would they delete Trouble?
I doubt either Calvin or Gaga will go #1, the former probably will on iTunes for a bit.
57. Michael Bubl้ - I Believe In You
I'm so surprised that this has hold up pretty well!!
I'd guess Calvin will be top ten without a doubt next week, and Gaga will probably get a chart play -- I'm not sure just how high she'll be, though. So much chart dramz all at once
I feel like Gaga is being underestimated? It's hard to predict as we've not seen how she'd fare in the streaming era yet but I can imagine she'd be right near the top of the New Music Friday playlist on Spotify and get a LOT of curiosity-based first listens at least, plus not forgetting her fanbase. Could debut top 50 on Spotify? And of course a very strong start on iTunes is likely!
To be fair, that's part wishful thinking on my part.
how come Offaiah has these Troubles that, if continue, completely explode his chances for top 40 this week... get your hands out of the track
In the latest Kworb update (0.2 hours ago) Offiah is back at #8 in dark green with 0.3035 despite having 0.000 in the previous update. That puts Ariana back to #11.
Oh, it's just he said he wishes it didn't chart well ;o My bad, I assumed he'd HEARD the song and was judging it on that ~
I think Olly is on Lorraine today....
The Ellie G rumour was false FYI.
Post Malone has got a track out tomorrow... With Justin Beiber.
Wonder how that will chart?
can't see it making the top 40, Post Malone's not exactly a big name and he makes urban music rather than dance or pop which would sell more.
90. Dance - Rick Astley
Generic weekly question.. what's out this week that could do something in the iTunes chart
Lady Gaga
Calvin Harris (rumoured/extremely likely)
Busted (yeah, I'm the only one. SUE ME.)
I doubt the Calvin song is out tomorrow, other than that picture, we've had nothing else
starting to think the new Gaga is gonna sound like Bon Jovi's Keep the Faith
come on Calvin give us the goods tho. id be so let down if he ended up not releasing ugh
98. Basshunter - Now You're Gone
Any reason for this?
it's 59p.
I've a feeling Calvin will hold back until next week or the week after to coincide with his iTunes Festival appearance which I think he did when Blame was released.
I dont think Lady Gaga will do that well but I think he will try and avoid it in case it stands a chance of going to number one
James Arthur's new one out tomorrow is really good. Very Ed Sheeran. Hope it does well.
James is still releasing music?
Is he still homophobic?
Realised I'd better post the answer to my little question before the thread closes.
The connection between Sean Paul and Kendrick Lamar is that they both use their middle names as their surnames for professional purposes.
Some of the other answers were probably true too, but not what I had in mind.
