Rudebox got great reviews from the music critics when it was released Elizabeth, it was the tabloids that panned it especially that jpurnalist from the Sun ...

No - I think it's real elisabeth. The writer wasn't being sarcastic.

About Swings Both Ways sales from the new interview to The Guardian:

QUOTE
“I suppose I’ve just got to redefine success,” he says. “I’ve yet to shape it and whittle it and to convince myself that everything’s all right. You know, my last album would have been the peak of anyone’s career: double platinum, No 1, holding off One Direction for the Christmas week No 1, sold 2.3m. In this day and age, that’s a staggering success. But against my own success, there’s a light shining on it going: ‘He’s not selling 5m or 6m copies any more.’ I do realise that I’m in a place now where I’m not imperial. It’s not over by a long chalk, but I’m not imperial. When you’re imperial, it’s sort of like stepping up to a pool table and knowing you’re just not going to miss. Whatever you release, you’re not going to miss.”

and somehow leaving you with the sense that it must be fairly exhausting to be Robbie Williams, even when off-duty

It must be hard to quieten your mind with all that going on 24/7. Like you say - glad he's got such a happy/stable home life to try to balance it all out.

Christiano Rolando said that fear and hate against his haters have made him such a huge footballer. Maye they all need that?

It's part of what drives them , is there a price to pay though with all that madness surrounding them , must be hard to let go of all that Euphoria .

Robbie can have a career as long as he wants to but some day it will be in a difference shape & form but for the time being it's hectic tongue.gif

After reissue Greatest Hits sales in UK are very close to the following 'best of' albums:

Robbie - 2.341M
Michael Jackson (Number Ones) - 2.35M (on July 2016)
Take That (Never Forget) - 2.36M (on July 2016)

I think in 2 weeks he will catch MJ and maybe then overtake TT as well but until the new TT release.
In a long-long-run it's also possible to overtake George Michael (2.48M) but no chance to catch ABBA, in my opinion. And that's fine: ABBA, Queen, The Beatles, Bob Marley should be stay in another league,

Anyway historical Best Of Top-10 is coming for Rob.

Better Man?

I see everywhere now they're quoting RW global album sales as 70m. Does that sound correct to you?

I know he was stuck on 63m for ages back in the RKTVS days and we've had three albums since then. Could he have sold an additional seven million world wide?

Fab if he has. cool.gif

Love My Life is 16 in the charts overall in the mid weeks and five on ITunes so he's done really well with this single. His hard work has paid off. cool.gif

Album should reach 300K this week too. happy.gif
